Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters "Show-Accurate" Optimus Prime

Well, it's been a while but I finally finished up this guy and he is looking amazing! I have gave him a full accurate repaint and many new features. One of the biggest features is his new head. The head is from TFP First Edition Deluxe Optimus and it is on a ball joint. I've added a styrene crest, longer "ears", and little spikes or whatever you wanna call them on the back of his head. Styrene chest pieces have been added for accuracy. Smokestacks were cut off and place behind his head. Autobot insignia's from Reprolabels were added to his shoulders. His jet-pack is now permanently attached to his body and custom thrusters with LEDs were added. The two badass accessories that will come with him is the Star Saber designed by citoria (LordDragonMaster) and his gatling gun designed by Zildjian. The only bad thing is that because of him being so accurate he wont be able to transform, but the only way to truely show off this guy is robot mode.

I stand by my belief that a Transformer that cannot transform is no Transformer.

But this still kicks all kinds of ass.

Looks great. My only critique/question is why you didn't paint the figure to match the gun or vice versa. Regardless, it is very cool.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it!

Thanks! Your absolutely right but in this case I had to take the transformation away to help make it more accurate.

Thanks! The figure and gun was painted the same but somehow the gun came out a few shades darker which I think was from the primer.

That is just incredible. The chest pieces look fantastic. Are they removable? Does he still transform?

    Thanks guys!

Thanks man! They are stationary and so is the jet pack which makes this figure non-transformable.

I was really liking it - until I saw the PENCIL NECK eeeeeeeee!

After all that work it seems a shame to leave that area looking so weird, maybe a new balljoint+socket mod or some way to try and padd it out/cover it up?

    Thanks!

You got a sharp eye there! I never noticed that but now that I do it kinda detracts from the figure. A member on here commissioned this figure, so I'll have to try that on the new one. Thanks!
