First look at in-hand TCC Treadshot

    With that 5mm port on Catgut's back, if you plug in a black long barrel gun with a 5mm post, you can get a fairly good representation of his G1 self in weapon mode. Any idea where we can get one of those guns? Some Kreo set on clearance must have one that would work.

    Other recent figures with blasters that might work: Gen Blitzwing, The handle for the sword of FOC Magnus, Gen IDW Orion Pax, FOC Brawl, and not sure if it's 5mm but Gen Legends Optimus Prime.

    Not sure how they scale with the AM Catgut is using, but I'm sort of leaning towards the Legend Optimus and FOC Brawls guns.

    I'd say the DOTM Deluxe Roadbuster. Roadbuster comes with his nifty MechTech clamp/gun as well as FOUR small rifles that are posted all over the armor. If you don't care for the figure, and can find him on clearance... he's well worth picking up just for the weaponry.

    One of those smaller rifles would be perfect for this minicon.

    Regarding Threadshot... Ya know, I see why they picked Warpath.. but I have to say... they needed to retool a new head. Just doesn't look right.

    Why does it feel like Catgut is mis-assembled to me? The neck with the post on the back of it just doesn't look right... but then I have never owned this micron before so I really don't know.

    Otherwise I am happy with the set :)

    I love the idea of them doing the Action master guys, but they really do need new molded heads for each character.

    Too bad these are so expensive

    That is a good mold. Nice colors on the figure. But not really for me.

    yeah, all the arms microns have ports and 5mm handles sticking out @ random places...

    I got mine in the mail today and love that catgut micron....


    still undecided if i will sign up for TFSS 3.0
