If real, I'll get it alright, as I missed first time around. All that really bugs me is the red crotch bits and the colour of the clear trailer. Might spray paint the trailer silver anyway?

Is it easy to spray paint clear plastic?

Well, it should come as no surprise that this is a bit on the ugly side. Garish paint jobs seem to be a recurring theme with this line. While Prime himself looks hideous, the trailer looks kind of cool.

Can't stand the gold. I'm glad I got my regular Hasbro MP10.

 

What a waste.

People were practically killing each other for the regular version at Toysrus when it was released. Most stores got maybe 4-8 Primes each. People are now paying double on Ebay for it.

Logically you would think Hasbro would do a second run of Prime (even without the trailer), but instead fans get this! WTF? I wouldn't be surprised if significantly more of these are made than the regular version too. They really do think we will buy anything.

 

Oh that deco is awesome I may have to get this.

 

Trailer is cool, Gold is a bit off. I get all MPs, so this will be no different.

...except for MP10 in G1 colors. If there's one thing Hasbro's good at, it's taking a phenomenal mold and ruining it with a hideous paint scheme. Of course, when they get it right like they did with their first release of MP10 they short him to the point that he becomes nearly impossible to find.

 

I just want the Trailer and roller. don't care about the prime toy.

 

It's very rare for Hasbro to do a second run of an older high priced figure - mostly because I think big chain retailers always want something new on their shelves, and the high price scares em off - which is why even with MP-01, we got two different versions from Hasbro - it's just unfortunate that this second version has a very strange scheme.

 

I thought it was rare because retail stores don't want to take the risk of keeping an expensive toy on shelves--kids don't usually have a lot of money and parents are are only willing to spend so much on toys.

Why Hasbro does use the fan club or its own online store to push MP is just sad and f'ing stupid

The deco isn't my cup of tea but the novelty of the transclearant (it's a word, look it up! or not  ) trailer is there. It turning clear and invisible would explain where the trailer goes when Optimus transforms into bot mode in the G1 show, heh.

 

So weird that the eBay listing has pictures of MP 01 as well as MP 10.

 

I've talked to that seller. He said he put them on there like that bc he can't display yoth on the main pic. That hasbro would have his ass. He said he's got the ready to ship. $180.00 with shipping. Wait on bbts
