yea.. ive noticed my ally list has been getting shorter and shorter...
so with that being said, I have about 10 spots open.
currently ranked 532 and usually finish tier 2..

It's because Mobage has forced our hands with this no-fucking-energon bullshit starting day 1. I started the event with 2200 BCs and a whopping 5 energon. I got up to 205ish energon before I was starting to slowly lose energon from too many Jetfires and not enough Rumbles. It made it impossible to farm more energon. Now, of course, I haven't seen a Rumble in 2 days. Many T1 players are very low on energon.. so it makes sense for us to assist each other (in other words, pool energon). Such drastic measures wouldn't be necessary if there were either a way to get energon, or the damned event was run normally. The fan favorite turned out to be a real clusterfuck, and it's only going to get more hairy as people run out of energon. That also means stuff is dying super fast in queues (you may have noticed this). People know that the problem is bosses to tag, not battle cubes to conserve. The last 2 days are going to be super weak because most players will be tapped out and there will be no high level bosses for everyone else to tag, unfortunately.

What they wanted to do was make people waste all the BCs they farmed during PVP- and that's fine. The way to go about doing that is to make Day 1 all about energon farming and then release the hounds (or Overlords) on day 2. Let us farm 700 energon each and THEN we can waste our BCs very fast. Oh well, lesson learned for them, I guess.

 

Hi guys do u know if, does the transformer cogs carry over to the next event that has the cogs? Oh is it only for use this episode? Also can a10x R5 card merge with a x9 card alt mode? Can u transcan them?

 

So far, cogs have not carried over... but I think someone has complained and were credited the cogs from previous event. You cannot combine a 10x with a 9x or 8x.

 

I'm still farming Energon, I just refuse to hit Jetfires at all except for sniping. Granted I'm not going for Tier 1, but I'll come out with around 200 more EC than I came in with.

 

So far anyone here from the forum, got the 1st OVERLORD level 8? I got one, but when I checked there is no reward. Its a set of Cyclonus. Maybe try for the next 100th or 1000th overlord, if none.

 

Wow, I'm at rank 2181. I doubt it will last for long, but that's probably the highest I've ever gotten in the middle of an even.

Sitting around 593, pulled second half of Misfire from medals and got his weapon from rewards. He ain't too bad, on the soldier row. Gun's fairly good. Hope it helps.

 

Nice, I am kind of wishing I did that. I'm worried I've over extended myself trying to MTM Galvatron. My deck still isn't that great and I'm burning through cubes trying to get another shot at the ruby space bridge. No luck getting an alt mode via episode medals.

I am around rank 1200 so that's nice, but I don't expect it to last very long and only Jetfire or Overlord rewards would help my deck.

I thought I'd poke my head in and see how y'all are doing. I guess it's safe to say I broke free. I log in daily for the bonuses and to start an event for whatever freebies Mobage will give me. My hope is that one day this game will become playable again and I'll have a stockpile to rebuild with. I know better...especially since I just read the last 20 pages and saw that y'all are saying the same things now that were being said back when I used to make attempts at keeping up with the old skool. Sadly, my T5 Rodimus/Galvatron are nothing more than what's passing for tier 2 rewards these days.

How have things been? What major milestones have I missed? I'm actually messing around with this event beyond logging in for the startup freebies. Not trying to rank of course...I know how that ends up. Hell...from the sounds of things, I doubt the $180 I spent on Rodimus/Galvatron back in the day would even get me a T1 finish, much less the 30th-odd place it did then. I just want to collect whatever point rewards come up from tagging whatever shows up.

Sigh...Overlord. One of the 1%'ers. I actually voted for him along with the Wreckers for that poll they took. Damn shame they wasted a perfectly good event by doing this with him. Could have been him as the boss (although I have no idea who his 3 underlings would be) with Springer, Kup, and Roadbuster as the x10/x5/x3.

Speaking of tagging things...HOLY SHIT!!! Level 8 Overlord has > 1 BILLION hp? The MVP did 583 MILLION?

Yep...I can still feel the presence of the Mobalord...

Mobalord? Overlord? Naaahh...no way.

I would split those cylonus on opposite side...

 

My rule for raids now is don't waste a cube without getting something substantial back. Streakers I can one cube so I stay BC Neutral and gain an EC. Rumble 1&2 are the same. Rumble 2-5 I can 2 cube so I waste a BC but get an EC. Rumble 6 and 7 I one cube and then ask for help so again swapping a BC for an EC. Jetfires like I say I don't touch unless I can snipe and stay BC neutral. You don't get anything except medals, which I can't really be bothered with to be honest, except for wanting a Cyclonus Bot mode for the 'dex. He'll be useless after the event so I'm not really bothered about burning cubes to get him. Overlord's and level 8 anything I'll stick a cube in any that come my way because of the points.

I've been going for the suggested strategy of not initially trying to save rubies for the x5, and instead "buy the x3 like candy." I was getting kind of worried, because the bridge gave me bot bot bot bot bot. But now it's given me alt alt alt, so I'm a little less irate. Three MTM x3s in the soldier row don't really seem to be adding much for me, though...

 

I don't know. I actually started up a lot of the Mobage games I thought I might eventually become interested in. I log them daily for freebies that way if I actually do give them a serious run I have a nice stockpile of something to work with, be it feeders or whatever passes for their "energy" replenishment. Sadly, I think it will just prolong the time it takes before I hit that wall that requires money in order to continue progressing at anything faster than a snail's pace.

What I've observed across the board is that "the formula" is well entrenched in ever single deNA game out there. I don't think anything's going to change. There will always be spenders above and beyond the average player and Mobage/deNA will cater to them. Cliques will emerge to try to maintain a top-tier hegemony. Sounds like that happened here or something like it evolved. "Random" is well...Butch can tell you all about that with his 12 Cyclonus run.

I don't know. Well...I do, but in my opinion, the best thing to come out of TFW was this forum.
