Still, not bad for a pair of Decepticon sneakers and an exclusive Megatron.

 

Siebertron has a clarification post up from Hasbro. The three pack costs $550, includes the figure, and is available at a single specialty store, the "regular" shoes will also include the figure and will be sold at regular stores.

 

These shoes are awesome, the toy, not so much. Make em in size 15 and consider them bought. The toy, I could always give to the kids or put it up on ebay. So November 26th is the release for these on Nike.com?

 

I hear you brother. In terms of looking like someone who does collect, I don't fit the bill either. Nobody would even know looking at me. I study martial arts, love football. Matter of fact I have always wanted one of the robots from the Fox sports channel turned into a transformer.

Same here. Black guy, big into sports mostly basketball & football, kinda a little sneakerhead, avid car nut, mostly Pontiac but I like anything fast.

idw megs is ass but I really would have wanted these kicks if they were making them in my size.

 

If it's any consolation guys. I'm a biker and a bouncer on weekends. I don't look like the least bit like a tf collector!

 

I love all the fan hate on these things. People don't understand how this helps out the brand so much. Same with the people who whine about the transformers movies. Its all about brand awareness. Calvin Johnson is a pretty good name to be attached to the Transformers brand. I would buy these if they where not high tops just to support my brand and they dont look to bad. I want that figure tho.

 

Can I just get the football and repaint my comic pack megs?

 

This is a pretty interesting cross promotional item. Personally I don't care for sports all that much and would neither display nor wear these, but I think this is a good item and cool for those who want to own them. People thinking CJ is stupid or douchey are just hating on something they don't like. As attested by a number of guys on here you can be an athlete and toy collector just fine. At work I have been spreading the love of the Masterpiece line and some of those people are big sports nerds. I am an over weight hairy guy in his thirties so I suppose I do look an adult toy collector stereotype, but I also used to attend metal concerts and moshed quite frequently.

That is a very spiffy looking Megatron though. If the cannon were orange it would be a wonderful Galvatron.

On second thought, I probably would wear the shoes if I ended up with this set.

 

I love sneakers and if i collected sneakers then these would be perfect. Unfortunately my wallet only allows me to collect one type of item and the choice was easy! Transforming robots!   This set is just a bonus.

 

And this post means that I'm gonna have to ebay that Megatron fig as I have no interest in the shoes...

Well the decision for me has been made! I'm buying the SCII's those sneakers are close to the style i rock in the summer anyway, Yes sometimes i still dress like a horny teenager.   Besides it'll match my "KEEP CALM AND HAIL MEGATRON" shirt
