based on the articles i've seen you should be able to pick a pair from the set on the website once they become available.

Now that this has been updated, I like the cleats (though I have no use for them) and the modern shoes. I just wish that they came in Honolulu Blue, Silver, and Black... You know... to go with my Lions jersey.

    So... any release date mentioned?

Also, does the figure just come with the three pack or every single pair of shoes?

It appears to be three sets of shoes and IDW Megatron with a football.

Yeah, I don't care so much about sports, but for three pairs of Decepticon themed shoes, a repaint of the already awesome Deluxe IDW Megatron (with a football, which is kind of amusing), I can consider this thing bought...if it is truly $130 for the set like it apparently is.

You get three SINGLE different shoes people. There are no PAIRS of shoes in this set. This box contains four different items.

I believe the single pair of scII are 130. I bet for the whole pack between 450 -600.

.... those kicks are too busy. Tone it down Nike.

So how much of the money that they saved using hollowed parts on Megatron went into these shoes?

This does not make any sense. Where did you get this information?

Its in the press release if you read carefully, at least that was the interpretation I got. Looks like some shoes will be sold as pairs separate from the 3-pack, but the 3-pack doesn't include pairs.

Oh cool well as long as they would sell some in pairs but when i went to the nike website i didn't get that impression at all. Even after scanning through the box photos they're clearly large enough to fit 3 pairs of shoes.

Either way i just wanted the SC II's anyway. So yay for me :D  I have no use for cleats as i don't play football and the trainer max looks like a basketball shoe which i'm not really a fan off.

He's only a "random asshole" to those nerdy enough not to not be into sports (I say nerdy because the jock hate is strong in that reply).

But seriously, we're dissing a guy who probably was a transformers fan and has now brought the name to an even broader span of people? Oh, that horrible guy.

For one, I think the whole "Megatron" nickname came about from one of his teammates where,so announcers started calling him that and it stuck.

In fact, a 30second wiki search: " Fellow teammate Roy Williams nicknamed Johnson "Megatron", due to his large hands being similar to that of the towering Decepticon. The nickname caught on well with fans."

And it's not the first Transformers reference in the NFL. Here's trivia, anybody knows what running back said he goes into "Beast Mode" when he starts running hard 'down hill'?

What is with all this "douche" talk? Hasbro has made a deal with Nike to promote a football player whole's unintended nickname has brought both companies attention, TF fans have a incredibly rare variant of a collector's item to look out for, and profits should be positive for both companies, which is good news for TF fans.

What exactly is the negative thing about this deal that I'm missing here or is jock hate so strong it blinds people's reason?

Wouldn't pay big $$ for them, but I think they look quite nice, better than any previous TF shoes.

Wow. This place sometimes.....I'll never get this fandom EVER. Why can't people who are into sports be into transformers? So much so that to be nicknamed after one of the most iconic decepticons ever is being a bad thing? I would never think that some of us feel this is so wrong. I find it pretty cool. An the fact that they use the term " beast mode " on ESPN when going over highlights of previouse games is a nice nod to those of us who " get it ". Idk. I hope I never get a chance to meet some of you , cause at first glance of me, I don't look in the least bit like a nerd or even a collector of anything. I'm into sports, and the gym ( a lot ). Am I not allowed to enjoy transformers? If I feel like it, maybe I'll even change my legal name to Cyclonus.
