I'm ecstatic with Star Saber.

The mind boggles how a jet, with a pilot/brainmaster and a further super vehicle mode, climaxing with a super robot mode, is uncool to some.
Can't all like everything though, so I'm not going to rage.

I think it's awesome to get ANY of the characters in the entire franchise as a Masterpiece. Irregardless of my personal nostalgia or love for the "look" of a character. The opportunity to get my hands on a completely new mold and to discover the complexities that go into making it and the transformation will guarantee it a spot on my shelf.

 

It is great. Although there really isn't that much to talk about other than speculation at this point.

I try to imagine discovering, like, Beyblade in my twenties and getting completely on board.

The folks hoping for a subsequent Victory Leo (and I share your desire), I recall it was mentioned in the announcement that SS will be designed with a possible future VL in mind, the combined mode of which will be nuts!  

 

I don't know about Awesome. I liked it, and I would like to hear more, but awesome is pretty high praise.

I thought technically anyone could vote as long as you printed out the form and mailed it in with the points from Go! and Generations products. I don't recall it being limited to Japanese residents, but maybe I missed something that came out after the initial news on how to vote.
