This toy neither appeals to me nor my stringent western sensibilities in regards to toys that don't suck and/or aren't based on things I don't care about.

 

It was worse then that, it was 0.3%!

 

I'd say Fort Max did so poorly due to his encore release a few months ago & what exactly will be the benefits of a masterpiece figure? More articulation maybe but I doubt they would make a 2' MP figure & you know people would complain if he wasn't 2'.

please least finish the G1 Season 1 before doing any other figures. Maybe it is just me, but other than the 7 main headmasters, i don't have much interest in figures after the first 3 seasons

 

My favorite non-G1 Prime was always RID Prime. And the original toy still holds up! Supermode is perfect Masterpiece scale.

Here is my point:

If you're on this board and you're say, over 25 years old, you're here because you loved transformers as a kid right? Now unless you grew up in Japan, China, or Singapore, there is zero reason you should have any nostalgia for "Starsaber" since he didn't come out in America/canada/mexico/europe/etc; nor was he featured in media any in those areas.

So given the long list of characters we have yet to get MP releases for that you should actually have nostalgia for (and tons of them were on that list) how in the hell can you be excited for this guy unless you're really just one of the "Gotta catch'em all" dudes which is who I feel like I'm addressing anyway so bleh.

 

I skip most of the MPs and even Hasbro retail figures now days.

And this is the most excited I've been about an MP release in a long time.

So hopefully sooner than later, I'll have my MP Star Saber, a toy of a character I care about, inside my home, along with my shelter and food. As will many other fans.
