I do have to admit that I'm bummed Hasui wont be working on it, but at least it's for a good reason (to not derail the main MP line). Maybe they'll at least consult him, the man is a genius. Hisashi Yuki on the other hand has designed some of my absolute least favorite TFs like Universe Galvatron, Dinobot, and Prowl but he's also done some really great ones like Inferno and Sideswipe. He is also the guy that designed the BW Neo Unicron that never came out and people still drool over.

 

Wonder will they make saber aka the small plane as big as mp11.

 

Depends on which size scale someone refers too also.

 

That's cool! I'm looking forward to the figure. I wonder how he'll look in a classics line. If he's to scale, would he be about MP-10's height? If so, that would be a pretty good sized space fighter for classics.

The sketches were from the original toy, not the new MP.  

 

It would be nice to get some new fiction on Star Saber, maybe by IDW. I know they have the homicidal zealot version of him, but it's nice to get something that's closer to the Victory version.

 

I am so getting MP Star Saber. In fact I will be getting two. Hope that MP Victory Leo isn't far off.

Starsaber is cool... not that there was all that much choice. Mostly various incarnations of Optimus Prime/Convoy. I would have liked to see a Galvatron or a Megatron 2.0 (like they did with both Optimus prime/Convoy and Starscream). From the selections they allowed, I'd have liked Dia Atlas but I guess as toys go they'd have to do Starsaber first.

Never been a fan of the Victory series but I'm happy for those who are.

 

So.....anyone wanna guesstimate on what this guy will cost?

I feel the same way and the others once it is sold out will probably kick themselves for not buying it. But no matter more for the rest of us

Can I just get a preorder already? I know we're probably a full year away, but I want to see "Masterpiece Star Saber" in my preorder list every time I log in to BBTS. It would just feel good.  

 

I certainly hope not. The main body jet would be the size of a coffee table!
