Holy crap! That animation is freaking beautiful especially if the series retains that quality! It looks like OVA/Movie quality, and it's so clean. Naruto's voice actress is the same, though his voice is slightly deeper which makes sense. I couldn't see the VA changing kinda like how Son Goku's wasn't changed in Dragon Ball.

 

It premiers on February 15th in Japan, and will be distributed within a week in case anyone is interested.

 

Does this mean the TV filler will be ending anytime soon?

 

The TV filler ends on February 8th, and Shippuden is Part 2 manga based.

I normally don't turn up to rain on people's parades but... Naruto sucks.

 

That's your opinion and I respect it...though if you'd please validate your reasons for disliking it i'd appreciate it. Though, this isn't a discussion about how good or bad this series is.

 

Well, the animation sucks, action sucks, plot sucks, characters suck, voices suck, too repetitive, too never-ending, too much talking during fights (both from the fighters and the spectators), fights are too long, etc. Then again those plague most fighting animes. So I guess I can't blame Naruto. Its just that its so overrated. At least Dragon Ball Z had a certain flair to it.

Anyways, sorry to derail the thread. Ignore me.  

 

I am a huge fan of Naruto and I can't wait for this movie to come out.

after much slacking, i finally started to watch this (watch a few episodes couple years ago when my cousin bought it over and really liked it).

i'm only at episode 15 but i'm watching like 2-3 episodes before bed everyday.

so with this news, i have even more to look foward to.

 

Heh, carry on. I'll still think Naruto is a poor excuse for a preteen/teen's "IT" anime (in fact, any kind of anime). Dragon ball Z was much better.

I enjoy how naruto has changed while it is slowly...very slowy I see how the charactes maure and grow and thats what I like about the series.Naruto really reminds me of me sometimes thats why I like it I supose.

I cant wait for the hurricane chronicles to begin

 

Can't wait for this to come out, and it never stops to amaze me that people still come into threads just to try and goat people into argueing with they're apparent "better taste"

 

Just for the record, I like Dragonball Z too, but I find the action too over the top and repetitive. At least the characters in Naruto stay dead when they died (except Gaara).

And I prefer Naruto manga over the anime. You have to understand that manga proceeds at much slower pace than anime and therefore there must be lots of fillers and drawn out action in the anime to slow the pace down. It happens in all the animes actually.

 

Yeah, I'm already aware of all of that and its understandable to a certain degree. I guess that's why I limit myself to short animes.  

I still don't like Naruto...... grr.

 

Honestly, this is an great series. I love it, and I'm sorry to people who think it isn't. I love how they flesh out EVERY character in the series. (I'm only on Episode 150 at this point though)

Plus, the premise is awesome... a demon sealed kid.

And honestly, I'm an orphan at this point, I totally can relate to him in so many ways.

 

I like Naruto, but I find it's better to watch in blocks of episodes rather than one a week, due to the slooooooow pacing (which, as mentioned above, is endemic to a lot of anime and has to do with the manga pacing).

Anyone smart stopped watching the filler over a year ago and started reading the manga while waiting for the fillers to end.

In other news, Bleach's filler already ended two episodes ago.
