Different toys targeting different demographics. The oversized cyberverse stuff is to ease little kids into the brand with big toys based on Prime that aren't hard to transform.

    Pretty simple, really.

Wow, I know he looked fantastic but Cheetor and Dinobot look like complete knockoffs standing next to him. He looks so perfect that the lack of paint on the guns barely bothers me. And he gets to keep articulation in beast mode. I expected his arms and legs to tab into somewhere but this is much better.

Forget about dinobot and cheetor, just compare new rhinox to the original toy. The original toy's beast mode looks like crap in comparison.

Because contrary to popular belief, Hasbro is putting stuff out for big boys too.

Mmmm das nice. The guns being painted would've been nice, but it's not that big an issue.

I generally dislike beast-formers but this thing looks epic.

I'm going to pass but this guy looks exactly like how I'd want him to, and makes me so angry and choked about how FoC Grimlock turned out considering they can do this.

How the weapons store in his belly to fill that area out - just wicked.

    AGHHHHH freaking Grimlock.

Kyde didn't design Rhinox, did he? I thought he left after doing Springer and Blitzwing?

Nope Rhinox is a Kyde design, one of his last (if not his last) IIRC but they're not necessarily being released in order

He's a little petite in beast mode, but I can live with that. He's pretty awesome, I'll probably pick him up.

I feel so happy about brand new organic beast modes being made. Unless some critical flaw is revealed in reviews I will be getting this.

Man glad I ordered this guy. There is money to be mad with these beast wars figures. I hope they keep em coming.
