I'm not supposed to like stuff like this. An unofficial, unlicensed Generations/Classics-style figure that not only impedes on the intellectual property of Takara under the Transformers banner, but also makes obvious reference to the holiest of the holy, pre-Transformers! It's a mould that has been pencilled in for repeated use (see Mugan Scope and Mugan Vox) and is Keith's Fantasy Club's first humanoid figure. "Micro Robo MC20" is, in the simplest recognisable terms, a 3rd Party version of a black Perceptor.

But I do like it :)

I have this figure too. I like him a lot. He does have some QC problems. His scope/cannon can come off easy, and on mine the upper chest looks split a little. Over all I really like him, He is great figure. Over all I have really enjoyed KFC 3p figures. I have most of all the Tapes they have made so far, and I am looking forward to their other figures.

    Great article.

I think this is a gorgeous looking piece with great poseability but future releases will need refining in terms of tolerances and design.

The chrome is the reason the chest doesn't sit flush as additional material on top of that piece was not considered. Peaugh's demo of the prototype confirms this.

I had no problems with the scope, surprisingly. On Mugan I only have to think of it falling off and it does.

I did see the shoulder post come unglued at the socket, probably due to the force those large sockets require to move about, though gluing it back in has sorted that out to no detriment at all.

It is hard to stop fiddling with and finding poses for, despite the flaws.

I love this figure in robot mode (even though he's limp wristed), but I hate the alt modes. They halfass achieve what they're supposed to be. Still worth the money especially with the coin. Totally passing on all other variants though.

Just do exactly as I have done in the pictures just above Daimchoc's but rotate the gun so that it's at an angle like on the cover of AHM #15.

My side-on image should show you how I've connected the rifle to the scope arm.

Agree all round and having gotten both from Kapow the very weekend all the QC horrors started being posted I was all ready for the mother of all facepalms but I seem to have lucked out with both. The joints are too tight on the shoulders it's true but that's about it and It's one of the best molds for poseability I own.

    Nice one Maz.
