I have no idea bud. I know there would be a lot of TFs in this one. But had no idea Bay was going to go with all these cars like this.
Maybe the big question is just how many characters won't get toys... (even though I'm sure they'll still find space in the line for the usual parade of non movie characters they made up)
At least the generics won't be so generic this time around. Kinda sick of the drone look in ROTF and DOTM.
Optimus, Bee x20, Hound, Pagani, Freightliner, Drift, Slingshot/Crosshairs, Ratchet, Wreckers (?), Rally Fighter, Dinobots, Some more Decepticons?
Oh god too many robots, can't even remember them. How about Dino? I know there is not much news about him, but I do really want a toy!
If you mean the "special" with the white and blue racing stripe that was seen, it has not been seen sense so I'm not so sure it was even for the movie. But we still have filming to go so it could show up I guess. At this point, I'm expecting to see more cars and even a new truck or 15 at this rate lol
Jeez, it really is Car Wars, Episode IV. I think we can safely say that the vast majority are generics, whether Bot or Con. I would;t be surprised if there are just one or two, maybe three body types which by the magic of CGI transform into all different types of car. I'm guessing that way Hasbro will make figures with a similar bot mode and then just make a non-licensed alt mode that's a mix of different cat models and just repaint it. Obviously Bumblebee and the Corvette will get figures (hopefully both versions of Bee), and hopefully the Bugatti and Pagani have had licensing sorted as they seem pretty prominent. I get the feeling the Lambo is going to be a semi-generic though so not so sure about that one.
I'm pretty sure what robots were going to be in the movie was decided before filming began, with Hasbro's involvement.
I say bring 'em on. The more cars, the merrier. Even if we don't get toys, no generic drones in the movie will be a welcome relief.
It's so obvious what they are! take my theory or a version of it into account and you will see the obvious take shape.
