Got a couple decent(I'd like to think) deals on almost complete Trypticon and Scorponok over the past week. Each of them was only missing one accessory, and I've got the Trypticon one(one of the gun connectors) on the way. Tryp even came with the foam and box, though the latter was rather beat up.

 

Congrats on your new acquisitions. Trypticon is an old favorite of mine. I recently picked up Scorponok as well.

 

I would love to add a Road Ceasar or a Deathsaurus to my collection. Please PM with your asking prices, and we'll see if I can afford either.

Quick Cyclonus question; I got a second-hand Cyclonus with no weapons recently, and am trying to determine if he a normal or targetmaster Cyclonus.

Was it only the targetmaster version that has the hole in vehicle mode to hold his weapon? It appears that way from the pictures I can find, but I want to triple check before I start hunting down a Nightstick figure. Thanks!!

Not posted in here for a long time, but I do still come in and look at all the lovely collections.

Actually picked up something for my G1 collection over the weekend; G1 Monstructor!

 

Awesome job on the Monstructor. I'm two bots away from that elusive final product. It's been five years now. It's amazing how tiny he is. I don't know how I would ever display him on the Combiner shelf. He would be the Tyrion Lannister of the group.

 

I think I'll put him and his shells somewhere around the Pretenders instead of with the combiners.

 

Thanks, I could do with replacing the right foot on mine to finish him off as mine is a bit yellowed. I got it for a decent trade though, so it is all good.

I'm even considering selling the individual robot mode guns as I doubt I will ever use them.

 

Monstructor looks smaller than I expected. I always thought he was as big as other combiners like Menasor when I saw him in the comics.

Yes, I think only the TM version has the hole. The holes on the hands are also a tad bigger than the normal version, but that's hardly noticeable IMO.

Do your pretender shells suffer from any discolouration? They look like they are pretty ok from the photos. I'm still waiting to replace 1 or 2 of the shells because of the spots which have appeared over the years.
