I must say, the reward structure are better this time around. You can actually neutralize your BC's with enough wins, which screwed me over last event when I couldn't replenish my BC stock.

 

I'm more or less hitting the wall at First Cavalier... I can't seem to get past a 4-streak now. And I'm a ways away from Master...

Could someone please refresh my memory? I do rember they said rank was important and that the pvp events would be the only way to advance rank and blah blah blah, but... So what? I was the maximum rank allowed at the end of the last pvp event, yet I cannot remember that affecting one single thing even slightly between then and now. So who cares? Did the rank benefit me in some way and I just didn't notice it or something? I ask because once again, this pvp event is deathly dull and seems more random than anything else and I'd just as soon not play it at all. I see the experience meter building so slowly in this final rank before Master Cavalier, and I wish so bad that I could just stop this torture now and come back to the game a week from now when it's fun again.

Does this rank really count for anything at all?

 

Yeah, I don't know why, but I've been hitting mostly good win streaks. Probably average out to 8 wins a streak before getting tanked. I've even hit as high as a 15 win streak.

 

Every event we've played since, you get a bonus during the bosses/mobs before any and all bonuses kick in.

I don't remember what the top rank was but, it was copper, where this event, it starts you at silver.. well, I started at silver.. not sure if someone that didn't make the top rank last time will start in silver this time.. if they did, that would just be messed up..

 

thanks. interesting. and i just noticed the point values for wins do not really increase as you go from sergeant to master cavalier. that stinks. i was hoping to do a lot of slow playing in the lower levels, but it looks like if i want to place, i have to go on a long streak.

what's the point for wins in the 10+ streaks for sergeant/cavalier/first cavalier?

 

Got to Master Cavalier last night and am done. It cost me almost 60 cubes, but I am fine with that. Will just use my 3 free recharge cubes every 3 hours to get 2 cubes to add to my stock.

 

I could have SWORN it said at the start that PREVIOUS Episode cards get a bonus. But I have YET to see that???

 

Probably that was only meant for the last SOS Dinobot Episode? I would think that if they imply the same on this episode, then it would be quite pointless to have the ruby characters for this episode.

Unfortunately, on the splash page it says "No ATK bonus for previous event characters." I think they would have mentioned it earlier anyway. Now we're into the October to Fodder events.  

 

Typo...possibly, but it was there last night cause I remember seeing it. but nothing has any bonuses. So yea as usual they screw up then QUIETLY sweep it under the table hoping no one notices.

 

I see this.....but it DID say previous event characters have a ATK bonus when it first started last night. they suck.

 

Oh I missed that then. Definitely a typo and a not-so-unexpected one.

 

This event sucks. This game sucks. Boo mobage.

 

I wished that they did get bonuses. I have a ton of the last event characters that would really help me against the win streak decks I face that are full of trypticons, metroplex, omega Supreme, nemesis Prime, etc. Really hurts my deck when you have nothing but far superior decks to fight against.

 

That was only for the first PvP so they could loosely tie it into SepToRem. This time the only bonuses are the ones you buy.

 

I get that. I am just saying they had it on thier initial game screen.

 

So, at Cavalier rank, only doing runs of four will keep you BC neutral, and net you 16 rubies, four or five gold medals, and 6 transmetals. Any longer run and you'll bleed BC's.

 

Tsk, Tsk, Tsk, Mobage artist of this set of cards. You broke a few key rules:
- Powerglide bot and Roadburner bot don't have weapons that they're randomly shooting into space
- Seaspray bot is only firing one of two of his guns into space

Come on Mobage, get your shit straight.

But seriously, I'm really digging the art for these cards! Almost tempting to actually play for Tier 1!

 

Yes the starting splash screen does say that there are no bonuses from previous cards. And the event splash screen DID say there was a bonus. I should have screen shotted it as I saw the contradiction. But I figured it was leftover copypasta from the first pvp event.

Acid storms weapon is craptacular. The only card in my deck that is benefiting from it is my 3rd rampage that doesn't have a sig weapon in my soldier line.

None of the raider cards will make my deck after the event and, in fact, acid storm is the only one I might bother with during the event as I gotta spend the rubies on something.

Finally saw a tfw member in pvp. Seeker311. So, I'm posting the pic so hopefully he sees it. I'm curious if this is actually his deck, or if mobagay just puts in whatever cards they want and just pull from our names.
