I thought you said there was nothing at TRU East? Well it's not Transformers, they're still pretty neat. So for $3.99 each you can army build Krangs and a cannon thing to put up against your Lego Turtles. I bought 4 of them and saw like 6 more left on a side panel in the lego section. I also saw about 5 turtle in training raph and mike sets and 5 mouser sets on the aisle. As far as TFs go they had legion Windrazor and Blot. I also saw a guy walking around with a legion jet vehicon. After seeing pictures and video reviews of mp prowl, I want one. I was going to get caught up with kreons, sharkticon megs, and a few other figures, but now I think I should put my money together and get prowl instead. And I forgot about his death in the 86 movie! I hope it's not too long before we get a 3rd party head with a plume of smoke coming out!
hey, the face is fine for being designed for the movieverse, and the hips are fine, they just have some clearance issues. the arms, well, they WORK, kinda, but they ARE rather, ugly, and difficult to work with. I just, don't like those darn wingstubs, he can't fly with something that small! at least, not without some workaround to explain it. oh, not sure which one was into them, but smith's off 528 has the new Frute brute (cherry) and nummy mummy (orange cream) cereals in addition to the classic three.
Agreed! It's stupid that the launchers aren't just part of his regular gear for the regular toy. He doesn't really look right without them, IMO. Glad to hear iGear is involved making some. I'm also betting there will be a Takara add-on kit for him, Blue and 'Screen at some point as well. My pre-order sat with bigbad for so long that I just didn't feel like dealing with the hassle of ordering through Amazon and then canceling the old order. Grrr....still in Trinidad, CO as of last scan yesterday. The wait is driving me to madness. He's probably sitting on a truck (that isn't moving) in NM somewhere.
I just mentioned this to a friend and he just showed me pictures from his brother's place where they have snow, already, in Colorado. Datsuns must not have a lot of traction in bad weather XD
That underbite/chin kills it. Yeah. Cuz they're fat! Didn't realize Prowl didn't come with the shoulder launchers. Doesn't bother me though. He didn't have them in the g1 cartoon so I can live without them
it's a chin strap, have you never seen the leather bomber helmets they are evoking with the design? also, I do not see how the hips are fat, they seem fine to me, mine even go back unlike most people seem to claim.
Hope you get him soon!!! I've had him since Thursday and he is awesome!!! I didn't get the launcher, but got the coin!!! The qc on mine is also superb as I didn't get any bad paint (looking at you MP Sideswipe ).
i get that's what they were trying to do, but i still don't think it's a great head, especially when the mask part is up. if it was painted different, it might look better and more accurate, but as it is, it just makes his face look long, it's the same style of look that K-9 and Wolfang had in Beast Wars, they had these super long chins when the battle mask was up. and his hips are pretty wide bro... from his shoulders to his waist, it narrows, then his hips jut out to the side pretty wide. he arrives tomorrow! just made it to ABQ this morning, i think Trinidad UPS location is closed on Sundays, hence him sitting there all weekend, but whatever, as long as he's here soon... i can't wait! and I wish he had the launcher too, but oh well, maybe i'll get one down the road, and if not, fuck it, he's gonna be badass either way.
Wow. Lots of folks with their Prowls in the same shipment. Drives me nuts knowing he's an hour away tops from my house. There's really no reason why he shouldn't be on one of the trucks to Rio Rancho today unless UPS decides not to be efficient.
well, the stop in Trinidad doesn't help. and as i understand it, most of these companies load the trucks for deliveries overnight, so our Prowls are all being moved to the individual trucks tonight, and then first thing tomorrow they'll go out for delivery. then we'll all rejoice in the day of Prowl!

Regarding that mold, again - it's not terrible. I opted to wait for a Decepticon repaint and I'm happy with Powerdive. Problems with the mold itself - hips, arms Problems with Highbrow - gross head, colored like toothpaste. Now! On to Prowl, he started a new POL. Whenever Smart Robin or Diesel hit, I'll ship
