Although Major Bludd probably won't make my team (not even the back 5), I'm continuing on just to get me a 4* Bludd. Already got myself 1 from points, now I just gotta stay within 750 to get 3 more. I was at 300 a few days ago but now slipped to 450ish from me doing a single AOA at 15streak whenever I remember to check the game (which means once every 2-3 hours). I think I'll be fine, and shouldn't slip pass 750. Also, I'll still have 150ish reloads stocked at the end of the event.

As far as stealing, seems like my choices are TWFs, or King Cobras, so I go for the King Cobras. So far I have never checked on how much points I got stolen from me. And I'll just live with whatever rank I end up with. I don't even know what rank I'm at, but I get a 12% bonus.

The next Rare/Epic rewards will make or break me from making me care for this game anymore.

 

Totally unnaceptable, you, and I, should not be demoted because we didn't or can't spend money like it's water. I logged in now only to find I've had approx 175k points stolen and will be demoted today since I have no ammo to win it back.

Honestly think I may just pack it in and be done with this event.

 

It's rough and yea I wasnt serious about them having the right to rob players hours of work because they spent money. It is very unbalanced right now, I've been doing the dollar buys here and there but have not spent anything since this ne beat down. I could aoa a one NE deck but this guy has two and with two cc and zarana they smack me away like a fly the one aoa attempt I did.

Bstanley gave me good advice when I was starting out and maybe after the next simulator event I'll take his advice and call it quits if there isn't some balance brought. P2P vs F2P should balance the cash vs time invested. But there is no reasonable free scenario that will let a free player compete with the NE decks that can attack others with no real defense.

Im going to say 90 to 100% of the top finishers will have NE already and create an even bigger gap when they add their be prizes.

 

I am starting to pick on those decks now. I can beat the 2 cc Zarana but ad another zarana or 2 NE ya no so sure. Only way though is AOA. But sometimes the points are 30k so its worth it anyway!

 

This guy murders my squad like twice an hour!

The most depressing part for sure.

One tiny bright side in this event: they lowered the threshold for getting back two ammo.

Edit: Also, weirdly, I win 9/10 of my revenge matches provided the opponent doesn't have NE in the deck.

 

If I am not in a bonus, I don't do the rival battle. Currently every time I do it, they revenge and take it back. The leader of my board has it out for me, he'd has taken 150k the past 3 hours. I have to aoa to get it back. Going to be a close one if he keeps it up.

 

Damn, what rank are you in right now. When I read on the facebook page people getting 1 million points stolen from them in 12 hrs, it scares me that if I go into a higher rank, people are going to have more chances to steal from me.

Def going to be demoted, I got back some of my points, but not enough to even stay put. I've got zero ammo, and living on recharges won't get me the 100k+ I'd need to just keep my rank.

So now I don't care about rank, I'm going to try to stay under 700, get the Bludd, and screw the rest. I'll take demotions till this is done and be done with it.

 

I thought if multiple folks buffed the same person it only took the larger bonus. Is it a cumulative bonus now?

 

Yeah, I'm just going for one Bludd (600K reward) in this event. That is my only goal. My hope is that if they ever put in trading, I can trade him for the last Event Destro that I need to make a 4*. If I end up with a decent rank then it would be an added bonus.

This round. Ranked fourth currently with 1.4 million points. Overall ranked 111.

 

The point totals aren't ridiculous but I'd say our group (which is Champion, if anyone was wondering) is pretty damn competitive. Only 400k difference between 2nd and 7th.

On the bright side, BigSexxxy (1st place) just tried to steal 65k points from me and failed. Suck it, Username-You-Hopefully-Regret Guy!

 

Looks like I'll single promote yet again, sitting 5th in my group with just over 600k, 6th is just over 400k so not gonna push much more in this group unless 6th starts getting close, only 30mins left...hopefully next group may be easier... want atleast 1 double promotion in this event...

 

There should be some mechanism so that the same person can't attack you over and over again. The guy ranked directly behind me has attacked 5 times in the last hour. I attack him back and get the points, but wasting the time and resources on him is keeping me from any shot at promoting. And in the end it does no good for him either because he is still behind me and neither of us are getting any where. This new mechanic is just terribly implemented.

 

Yeah, I've gotten a similar thing, although only 3 times. And in my case, it's the douchebag directly above me. But yeah, it's annoying as all getout.

edit: Also, why can't I push the Revenge button on this guy? He just hit me again 2 minutes ago. Do I have to wait for the Rival thing? This alanharwood18 douchebag is freaking relentless.

 

Hey Eternal, I'm in the same group with you. That guy has taken a great deal of points from me, as well. I AOA'd him once and did get almost 60,000 points back because all my SE's proc'd at once and I crushed him. So, his squad is beatable. He got me again for 30,000 and I let him have it. Not worth wasting too much ammo without the possibility of getting ammo in return.

I think I may have stole some points from you a couple of days ago, so I apologize. I am trying to pay more attention for TFW logos. Definitely won't steal any more again from a TFW member.

 

I apologize if my ranting offended. I am just incensed and frustrated. I shouldn't take it out on you all. I guess I need to be more constructive or just stop talking. I decided to stop talking on the TFL thread here because I wasn't being constructive. I will try to be more supportive of you all...

 

Nah, not offended and I don't mean to neuter your outrage - I largely share it. Just playing devil's advocate, in the same way I've often defended the dev team, or the people who pay hundreds of bucks to win...   I for one am glad you're still posting here.
