Alright! Now that Prime is over, it's up to you to make Transformers Prime a better show!

You guys get to rewrite the show! However, there are some specific rules.

1. The first mini-arc (first 5 episodes) stays the exact same, they set the premise for the show.
2. You are only allowed the number of episodes in each season that actually occurred in each season (so season one will always have 26 episodes).
3. You have to describe each episode you re-write with a short summery. Can be one sentence if you want.
4.You cannot change the movie's ending premise.
5. You cannot change who dies or survives in Prime, but you can change what happens to them or how they die/survive (ie: Breakdown dies but he dies incapacitating Bulkhead).
6. All characters must be included in your rewrite of the show who actually appeared in the show.​

*sigh* I had been avoiding all discussion about Predacons Rising for just this reason. It's fine. It won't kill my enjoyment of the movie. But please remember that not everyone has seen it yet. There's still time to edit some spoiler tags into your original post.

Even the thread about Predacons Rising is marked heavily with Spoiler warnings. I managed to misread the title of this thread and thought it was about 3 seasons and 1 game (the Wii video game). Technically he didn't do anything wrong, but it would be nice to have spoiler tags at least until Oct. 4.

 

LOL at the guy defending the OP. If he could properly construct a topic title, we wouldn't have this problem.

Plus there WAS a Prime video game. Also, the movie didn't air in the U.S. yet nor was released, spoilers TAGS are needed.

In the same way that the . . . For Cybertron games have a story that's relevant, the Prime game could also be used to further expand the scope of the show.

How bout a game?

 

It's pretty broken, way too much restriction due to the rules. A for effort but you should try again.

 

Now hold on, don't discourage anyone just because of the rules. Its meant to be an exercise, not just wild fantasy. Wouldn't be much of a rewrite/reimagining if you could throw out all the constraints the show had to deal with. Besides, you notice how OP never said you couldnt add some characters. There's plenty of wiggle room to get creative.

 

You really need to just totally avoid everything to not get spoiled.

I mean, I was watching Prime and it looked for a second like Optimus was going to pass the Matrix on to Smokescreen but I had already seen pics and news of the new Optimus toy everywhere so those scenes didn't really work.

 

I'm not trying to discourage anyone, sorry if it seemed that way. It's just that you can't change characters faiths. This game is like a colouring exercise; you already have the picture, just need to add some detail. No offence to the OP.

 

In defense of OP, the details are where Prime failed, plot wise.

Me? I would keep everything the same up until the beginning of Season 2.

Orion Pax Part 1: Goes pretty much the same as it did in the show, except no Iacon decoding, replaced with a scene of Megatron training Orion. Megatron doesn't plan on terminating Orion.

Orion Pax Part 2: Wheeljack and Dreadwing arrive on Earth, Starscream sneaks on board the Nemesis, leading to his injury, Orion's subsequent doubt, and leading to Starscream providing the info the Autobot's need.

Orion Pax Part 3: Dreadwing is disturbed by Megatron's deception of Orion as he considers it dishonorable. The Decepticons and Autobots meet for the first time since part 1, leading to Orion and Dreadwing collectively whooping the Autobots. The Autobots, despite the risk, decide to utilize Starscream's intel and use the Key to Vector Sigma.

Orion Pax Part 4: Arcee and Jack explore Cybertron. Ratchet, Bulkhead and Bumblebee hold the Spacebridge while Wheeljack provides air support. Orion's suspicion grows and he begins to question Megatron. His questions shock Megatron and lead the Decepticon leader to question himself for a moment, before news of the Autobot's attack reaches him. Realizing Orion may prove an obstacle, he orders him under lockdown while Megatron engages the Autobots.

Orion Pax part 5: Megatron lays the smackdown on the Autobot's, Soundwave dogfights Wheeljack, and Arcee and Jack, after evading a swarm of scraplets, find Vector Sigma. Ends somewhat similarly to the original arc, but Vector Sigma, instead of replenishing the Key, is completely downloaded into it. Ratchet suggests it may be far more than the repository of the Primes. Optimus and Megatron silently ponder how their time together has given them new perspective. Optimus finds his quest to end Megatron renewed, while Megatron briefly considers that Optimus may be right, but he decides that he shall continue on his set course.

Ugh, I could go on, but me sleepy.

 

Yeah, but no. Just leave it alone like Beast Wars.

 

Ep. 6 (First episode after darkness rising)
Arcee goes into deep depression after cliffjumper dies and she almost dies herself. Bumblebee and bulkhead try to cheer her up by taking her to a monster truck rally, which only worsens her depression because one of them looks like cliffjumper. She starts taking medication for depression. Meanwhile, Optimus and ratchet investigate energon on the move. They are ambushed by soundwave who is unleashing skyquake. Skyquake almost kills ratchet and optimus is forced to retreat. Soundwave tries to use sign language to tell skyquake that he know megatron is going to emerge from stasis and is here on earth to no avail. Skyquake decides he will stay will this poor mute decepticon as long as needed, and soundwave then leads him to the warship.

- All the Autobots get shields like the one Bumblebee used in S3. Instead of dodging lasers, they deflect them. The Autobots survive their battles and the Vehicons become a credible threat.
- Arcee kills Airachnid.
- Dreadwing lives and flies off into the sunset.

I can think of many more, but those are at the top of my list.
