I've been working on this project for a few weeks, between commissions, and I'm happy with the outcome.
I used MP Red Alert because I thought the wheels attached to the shoulders in robot mode worked better.
Loads and loads of colours used.
I love using different tones, and numerous shades instead of a block colour.
It took ages to prime this mold, perhaps 3 evenings on and off.
Numerous greens, including a light and dark shade plus a zinc green, some blues mixed topped off with 2 different light metallics.
The end has got a real metallic look to it.
Maybe not the greatest photos, but it's a metal chrome black for the black areas.
After I finished, I transformed a few times carefully and wasn't surprised to find a few rub spots. These were filed down with an electric file, and re-painted.
Medium gloss to totally end.
All paints used were from my favourite range - Vallejo.

I can't choose which mode I like better they're both amazing.
Love the colours and gradient tones you got going on there.

 

Robot mode is nice but the vehicle alternating panel colors drive me nuts. Nice application of paint though. It looks smooth.

I couldn't decide on a set colour, so basically mixed various colours and went for a mixture of tones.
I think it was a zinc green, dark metallic green and a very light green. A few shades of blue including a wash, finished with a few thin layers of steel and chrome.
I do enjoy different shades
