its ok, kind of feel like im using a windows phone now based on design. the shortcut to flash light is cool now. i just wish you could change the over all color palette, like for messages and certain backgrounds. whats crazy is how it looks 3d now too, how if you move the phone around your background stays still but the icons and everything kind of move giving a layer affect.
well i just spent the last 5 minutes being fascinated by that. thanks!!! its the picture that moves, though.
I was tripped out by too when my download finished last night. At first I was like "Eh" with new OS but after messing with it all day, I really like it.
Looks like theres a bug where if you type out a paragraph it wont highlight all the misspellings. It highlights the word right after you type it but then it disappears.
What I don't like: - The new icons - they're too retro for my liking and the rest of my apps don't match anymore. - The new photo album setup - the pictures I sync from my computer are mixed up with my iPhone photos now. What I do like: - Turn off cellular data - Thank Primus. I always worry about hitting my data limit. Now you can restrict all your data to Wifi with one switch. - Control Panel - adjust brightness and pause music without going through so much rigamarole. - Built-in flashlight - now I can delete that flashlight app with the annoying ads. - Put News Stand in a folder - why was this never an option to begin with?
You could turn off cellular data in all other iOS iterations as well. Is anyone else going out to get a 5S tomorrow? I'm not standing in line, but I'm swinging by AT&T when they open for a 64GB gray 5S.
Is there any way to get rid of these (in safari) Or at least add ones that are actually useful? (See attached)
Go down to the book icon. Then swipe left to get to bookmarks. Then swipe left on what you want to delete and the delete button will appear. Adding is easier. Hit the icon in the middle at the bottom and choose bookmark.
As much as I want to, I'm holding out for the 6. My 5 is only 9 months old and I'd rather not re-up for 2 years on a slight upgrade. IOS7 is enough of an "upgrade" for me.
I wish I hadn't just bought a 5 in June, I definitely would've enjoyed the 5S. Looking forward to what the 6 or maybe 6S brings us by the time I am upgrade eligible. I've been on iOS 7 for a week a now (downloaded the GM seed last week) and am thoroughly pleased with it.
They need to have at least the 128gigs of memory they have in the ipad, or something that really impresses, the 64 chip is nice, but there aren't any games or programs that can really take advantage of it yet, by next year when 6 comes out there may be, right now they need more before I upgrade
The Photos App is a fucking mess; 2GB of used space that I can't just purge from the settings tab like I can with just about everything else.
The 5S does run iOS7 better than my 5 did, as to be expected. Got to my AT&T store at 7:15, tenth in line, walked out at 8:30. Good day.
I was originally planning on ordering online, but on my way home today I decided to swing around the Verizon store and was lucky enough to grab one of the last ones they had, a 32 GB Space Grey model. 32 GB was exactly what I wanted, so I'm still pretty psyched that I was able to get one today. The Touch ID works like a charm and the phone is incredibly fast. I love it.
I'm getting a 5s by the end of the month or should I wait for the 6?. I currently have the 4s by the way.
