Am not a fan of the concept of robots adopting the shape of Earth animals.

The Transformers are supposedly an advanced race of mechanical, sentient beings. Having evolved separately, they should have their own 'creatures', with their own unique shapes and forms. I don't see why they have to look like an animal on Earth.

I know the robots themselves are anthropomorphic in design (resembling the human form), which, while I understand is neccessary to make it appealing and relatable to people, is something I wish doesn't always have to be the rule. Give some of them four hands, two heads or whatever. Let them be unique.

Which is why I really liked Rampage and Demolishor, as their designs were rather unique and different from the regular, humanoid forms. Same goes for Overload and Hightower, though we never saw them in the film.

I've got my fingers crossed that it's a full Dinobots team and not just part of the Dinobots like Hasbro has done before. Yes five Dinobots might be overkill but darn it I really like robot dinosaurs.

I also like the idea of Ratbat. While I'm not really a fan of the movie look I do think it could be just the right place to give Ratbat some sort of nightmarish look for the character that would just fit the character. If they could make him as evil or more evil than movie Laserbeak then that would be a nice bonus.

The return of the watch that transforms into a centipede from DotM.

That thing or others similar would be interesting to see again.

Well, the Dinobots are obvious, but on the Cons side I would like to see Ratbat (taking his master Soundwave's place) and on the Bots side I would like to see Ramhorn.

Ramhorn would be an incredible visual, a robo-rhino that transformed from some buggy or cycle.

    None.

I've never been a fan of movie-style transformers that adopt animal alt. modes or lean more towards animalistic designs over humanoid ones. I find they're usually overhyped (Devestator, majority of the Constructicons who didn't get toys, whichever one of the Dreads was the four legged one), sacrifice any kind of plausibility for flashiness (Laserbeak, who has zero alt. mode kibble in main/bird mode and yet can transform into practically anything smaller than a car), or don't have alt. modes to begin with (Skorponok, Ravage).

The fact this is supposed to highlight the fact they're aliens is something I get, but rarely does it translate well at any point in the trilogy unless they really are nothing more than robot animals that don't transform.

Yes but could the movie find a way to make them both cute and horrifying?

Sure, Prime did that pretty well IMHO

Actually with just a few tweaks the Prime Scraplet would be a good starting point

Was hoping to see Rumble in DOTM considering all the damage the were causing to the city. So hopefully they bring him for the AOE.
