    I shall bookmark this thread...

Best: Jurassic Park (1993) The bestest movie ever made and anyone who hates it is stupid. :p

Worst: Planet of Dinosaurs (1978) Even sweet stop-motion dinosaurs couldn't save this movie...

I must be off now. I need to alert NCStarscream. Away!

    Dinonerds assemble!

Yes, Jurassic Park is by far the bestest dinosaur movie ever and until May 4 of this year it was my favorite movie of all :)

As for the very worst...well, I think I've repressed too many horrible memories of abominations to cinema and dinosaurs to definitively pick one there. I see that there's a movie featuring dinosaurs and I am compelled to watch it, no matter the cost to my senses. I suppose the top candidate that comes to mind is Pterodactyl, which does actually feature a dino despite the focus on the fliers, so I'm counting it. Coolio vs. terrible CGI.

Best: Either Jurassic Park or The Original King Kong or Peter Jackson's King Kong

    Worst: Carnosaur

Other ones I want to mention: Baby: Secret of The Lost Legend
    One Million Years B.C.
    Caveman (with Ringo Starr)

Do films like Gorgo and The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms count?

I'm joining the "Jurassic Park is the best dinosaur movie" club.

But I remember seeing more dinosaur documentaries than movies. Who else liked Walking with Dinosaurs?

My heart skipped a beat when I saw this thread pop up. We desperately need news of Jurassic Park 4. I still remember getting my mind blown seeing the first one in theatres. I was so let down by Jurassic Park III. (Not that I don't like JPIII)

I didn't find JP3 to be bad. Maybe because it had Sam Neil and a bigger threat than T-Rex.

I actually had the chance to watch Carnosaur 2 before 1, and I didn't know it was the second movie. It was a VHS my dad bought to me when the dinosaur craze was at its prime, but they censored the really violent scenes from it.

talking about all things Jurassic Park! there's Jurassic Park The Game for the PS3(still to be released over here yet)

nb....i know that i shouldn't be mentioning videogames on a movie thread! but the game in question, is still part of the Jurassic Park canon

I like Jeff Goldblum more than Sam Neil in Jurrassic Park.

I'd watch a new one but only if Jeff is in it.

I don't know about Soundpulse, but I'd say that for the sake of discussion, we might as well include films like those. They're close enough to being "dinosaurs" in the sense that they're "giant, rampaging reptiles".

Runners-up for "bestest dinosaur movie": Valley of Gwangi, One Million Years B.C..

And possibly King Kong (1933), The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms and King Kong (2005), if those count.

To be clear, it was my parents who edited the video before they let me watch it.

Ah, dinosaur movies. My bread and butter. I loved those scaly critters for as long as I can remember.Jurassic Park is not only my favorite dinosaur movie, but my favorite movie period.

Anybody here remember Prehysteria? You know, the one with the baby dinosaurs named after rock stars? LOVED those films when I was a kid. God I miss the 90's...

Quick question I have been meaning to ask for a while. I saw a kids movie, or could have been an episode of a tv show a very long time ago about these baby dinosaurs that survived extinction and lived in the modern world. I remember some of them had a star motif. The movie, I remember, was about earth day, conservation, recycling, antipolution stuff like that. I belive the word Birthday was used in the title. If anybody knows what I am talking about, please let me know!
