Back in February I suddenly had enough of TFW2005 boards and decided to take a break. Had to take a look at my bunch of TFs and see why I need to keep on buying them. Now I just buy a few toys and I am still happy enough.

I read your post about white background images, white on white is impossible unless you sacrifice the true colour of the figure. You can achieve white bg by shining the light slightly behind the figure, but that makes the subject appear somewhat grey.
What I do for the site gallery is to use a very light grey or beige backdrop instead of white. The background appears dark, but the toy turns out nicer.

I personally don't recommend brightening up the background using area selection tool. It gives halo to the figure and makes it look unnatural in my opinion. The less after processing, the better!
