For Death metal, I dig Arch Enemy, At The Gates, Amon Amarth & Children of Bodom. I fail to dig Deicide & Cannibal Corpse, thus decided not to. European death metal are much more awesome, IMHO. *shrugs*

For Black metal, it's Dimmu Borgir, Darkthrone, Emperor (thx to Nacht), Marduk & Bathory.

For Thrash? FUCKIN' SLAYER!! And followed clooooosely by Kreator, (Max Cavalera's) Sepultura, Megadeth & Testament. Metallica & Anthrax can lick my boots. :lol

Power metal? ALL power metal? GTFO, Herman Li, kthxbai.

I've listened to some stuff from L'Arc-en-Ciel, mostly songs they've performed as anime themes. The others sound interesting; I'll definitely be delving more into them.

While we're on the subject of visual kei personalities and vampires, have you watched 'Bara no Konrei', by any chance? It's a very nice piece of Gothic fiction that stars many faces familiar to visual kei junkies - storyline consists of a lot of tried and true stuff (apart from the twist at the end, which I won't spoil if the film's alien to you), and the sets/costumes are simply magnificent.

My buddy from another TF board made this wallpaper, it took him extremely LONG time to type all those down. :lol

I like Malice's 'Bara no Seidou' album for its heavy Gothic atmosphere; 'Merveilles' is not too shabby, also. Haven't really checked out Gackt's solo numbers yet, nor Nightmare or D (any recommendations?).

Dir en Grey's stuff I absolutely adore - my favorites are the 'Ain't Afraid to Die' and 'Saku' three-track singles, along with 'The Marrow of a Bone' and 'Withering to Death' albums. What are yours?

Blitz hasn't popped up as of late, surprisingly, but I'm sure we'll be seeing him long before the season is out. His toy is my favorite Animated figure - I really can't decide which of his personalities I like best! And yeah, Cyclonus' IDW design is really neat. There are so many great designs throughout TF lore that require toys.

Hopefully, it won't be all that bad. But if the toy is nicely engineered and is fun to play with, I won't complain too much about scale.

Heck, I'm grateful he's even going to be produced as a toy. There's talk going around that Strika won't.

They should have gotten Hot Shot's original VA to reprise his role - I did like Strika's Russian accent, though. Making Blackout's EMP a stomp-activated function initially struck me as quite unusual, but I've since warmed to it. I'm happy he's getting a toy - can't wait for it!

Although the current Universe Cyclonus is a neat toy, yup, I agree - an Animated Cyclonus would be icing on the cake. To be honest, it's not just him I want - I want toys of everyone on Strika's team. :D
