I got a PS4 Slim. I still don't have much time, so I haven't done a whole lot with it yet, but I did give Star Wars Battlefront ago. Jan 15, 2017

I like the core gameplay enough (SWBF2's is still better though. The lightsaber combat is clunky too. The starfighter battles are great even though space battles have more variety with the capital ships and all that.) to play this game but the problem was it was too online focused and lacked content. I literally lagged too much for some reason (No other game did this.) and people would spam explosives anyways, yuck. Glad they are listening to us singleplayer fans. :thumb

Coming Soon to Star Wars Battlefront this Spring - Star Wars - Official EA Site

Well, well, well, I guess DICE and EA will get me to love this game after all. Sounds like they are bringing all the online modes offline, some kick ass Bespin gameplay (sounds similar to Bespin Platforms in the original Battlefront!), and some other cool free bonuses. Looks like they are fixing what I did not like, lack of content and a joke of an offline system.

I'm very conflicted on how I feel about the new Battlefront, but for the most part I'd say I don't like it. I would actually probably like it more if you could play all of the online modes and maps offline and the game would be totally worth it but at the state it's in now it's not very good. Even with the free maps in the recent updates, it still doesn't have as much content as Battlefront 2. More than half of the game is locked behind a 50-60 dollar paywall. :banghead:

Battlefront 2 had a story mode, galactic conquest, offline multiplayer with bots that can be played with a friend or solo, space battles, tons of maps, a class system (not some load-out garbage), each team had balanced vehicles, amazing space battles, great saber combat (the new one's is a joke), tons of heroes and villains, the clone wars era, more vehicles, and even a fantastic modding and online community. It's one of the best games I have ever played if not the best!

I'm surprised Star Wars Battlefront isn't doing well as expected. The hype building up to it really had me and many others pulling for the game--it looked too good to think it could possibly suck.

I still don't have a PS4 or the time to play my PS3:(

I've also heard DICE is probably making offline multiplayer for Star Wars Battlefront so we can play the online maps by ourselves with bots. I'm not sure if splitscreen will be added to that so we will have to wait and see if this is all true. That is going to be really fun like the original series. Also it will make the game timeless, I still play SWBF2 to this day. :hookday

Today I purchased one of those new Smash Bros. GameCube controllers and they are amazing! :D Not only are they way better than the original one's, I would say I like them better than even the PS3 and PS2 controllers. I even like it better than the original Xbox controller already! Definitely in my top 3 controllers which would start with the Xbox 360 controller (I love this thing, a lot. I'm literally obsessed with it. :lol) and 2nd would be the PS4 controller (The best controller in PlayStation history!), and now the SB GameCube controller at number 3.

Speaking of Xbox 360, I might get the original Dooms off of Xbox Live. I can't wait for the Doom reboot on PS4. The game also has this snapmap feature where you can create your own maps for singleplayer and multiplayer, so basically infinite replay value on a whole new level from your own imagination! :thumb

I have finally just started playing some of my GameCube games on Wii after gathering a small collection of games and I have to say that the backwards compatibility is flawless! I thought the GameCube controller would be pretty "meh" but it's actually really fun to use. It isn't awkward at all to use (Unlike the N64 controller.) and the triggers are pretty cool. I did use the controller on the Wii but only for maybe 10 minutes (Literally. :lol) because I bought a classic controller pro for like 13 dollars so I couldn't make a proper analysis.

Jedi Outcast for the GameCube is really fun, I think I like it better than the Xbox version because the controls are different, in a good way. Only downside, which is very minor, is that the graphics aren't as good but are still very detailed. Can't wait to get more GameCube shooters in the future. :D

Oh yeah, wasn't he flying one of the X-Wings? I wonder if he will be a secret character in the new Lego game. I'm pretty sure you can play as him in Lego Star Wars 2 or at least make him in the character creator.

I didn't dislike the movie, I just wasn't really in to it. It didn't feel like Star Wars to me but more like a fanfiction and I thought the villains were lacking. My favorite characters of the movie were Harrison Ford and Chewbacca, they really made the movie for me. Also seeing Admiral Ackbar was a nice treat. I'm definetly getting the Lego game though, I might even pre-order it.

What didn't you like about episode 7?

The change of music threw me at first, as it is such a departure from what preceded it, but after awhile, it started to grow on me.

The Lego game does look like a lot of fun. I like how they parodied the movie teaser for the actual game trailer:p

I know how you feel, I was actually growing a backlog for awhile but I finally got to most of the games. I was pretty busy for a few months and Fallout 4 didn't help either since it's such an expansive game. :lol I hope soon you will be able to find time to have some fun.

On a side note, the new Lego Star Wars looks pretty good, I wasn't a huge fan of Episode 7 but I'm willing to give it a go. :D

Oh, hey! I didn't notice this message until now. Sorry.

To answer your question: no, I haven't played any of the Fallout games. To be honest with you, I haven't played any games in about 7 months:( I've been busy with work lately.

I picked up the new Star Wars Battlefront yesterday and it is loads of fun. A lot people complain about there not being much content but that's far from the truth there is tons of content and a lot of single player fun to be had. The details are amazing and the game allows you to use every blaster seen in the original movies, even the Jawa ion gun!

I also bought a Wii two weeks ago and it's an awesome system. All the games I have for it are pretty fun. The Gamecube controller also works on Wii games aswell. I can't wait to get some Gamecube games and the classic pro controller soon.

I know right? He's clearly grabbing jets in mid flight, so he could probably grab and eat or throw Ironman. :lol I personally don't think any of the Avengers would stand a ghost of a chance against Godzilla.

:lol Now THAT's a crossover I never knew happened or never thought possible. Cool!

How on Earth did the Avengers ever bring Godzilla down? Shouldn't be possible:lol
