Protective yes, in a pre-Avenger world, post Avenger, it's a whole new ballgame, as they redefined the blockbuster. Someone needs to find out which team she falls under, the Paramounts rights team (Avengers, etc.) or the 20th Century Fox team (Spiderman, Fantastic 4, etc). Remember Marvel's right are split between those two studios at the moment, Circuit Breaker may already be in the Paramount stable.

actually Sony owns Spider-Man not Fox. Also Paramount doesnt own the Avengers, they only distributed the films, Disney and Marvel owns the rights of the Avengers team

Have you guys forgotten that Paramount brought us the Avengers, Marvel's biggest property? In lieu of the money these movies rake in, the licensing fees for a D-list Marvel character can't be that insurmountable.

actually Paramount didnt made the Avengers, they only distirbuted it, actually Disney did, they only kept paramount logo and such as a part of a deal with paramount, Marvel made the film
