Dreads for life
Sorry, not yet. Just finished my commission and I'm starting University tomorrow. I'll get to it when I can, but I would'nt expect it for at least a month. Sorry. :(
I don't know how long it will take. It depends when I get to it. Have to finish my commission first.
So does this mean you're commissioning me? :D
Do you mean a TFA human?
I'm doing fine. Thanks for the compliment on my TFA work, I'm actually doing commissions now! :D
Your idea for Prime looks pretty good, the whole concept of reversing the G1/Movie relation to decos and the figures sounds good. It's just that the Decepticons would all look boring n my opinon since they're either silver/gray, green, or Black in the movies.
Sure, you can bounce the idea off me, I'd be glad to help.
Been working on some projects over the summer, like my first Gundam Kit (HGUC RMS-099 Rick Dias) and taking a trip to D.C. My SG Ratchet has gone pretty much nowhere fast, since I need to work up the nerve to sacrifice the arm from the almost-complete E. Inferno I have lying around along with the head mechanism and modifying that extra Ironhide head I've got. If I could just figure out a way on how to duplicate those parts, I would have gotten my Ratchet done by this point. Ah, well, I'll get him done eventually.
Not at all! I agree, it's been a while.
'fraid I can't put any other projects on my plate right now, school work is astronomical.
Maybe later in the year though.
Hey! Well, I've got the original junker all painted up (sans mint-green windows, I'm going to leave the red clear plastic in place) and I've got a Universe Ironhide head partialy painted up, too. I've got another Inferno Junker that I have mostly complete (didn't come with the gun), but the condition of the junker is so good that instead of canibalizing it, I'll probably try learning how to cast the parts I need instead so I can have most of E. Inferno (who I honestly thought was one of the cooler Autobots in the abysmal show because he got corrupted by Megatron) while still being able to use the parts for Ratchet.
A good side-bonus of casting the missing arm parts is that the missing arm is the one with the spark crystal in it, so after casting the parts, I'll just shave off the hole where the spark crystal goes, cover it with a styrene "patch" (which I'll paint over to hide the alteration), and put one of my purple Autobot symbols over the spot.
I haven't actually been able to get ahold of a casting kit, though, and with school starting back up into high gear, it may be Summer by the time I get this insane project finished.
I'm getting the GOW2 set. I do want the g3, although 1- not sure if i have room and 2- not sure if I will use it enough. Although if I do find the money BINGO!
