      You read Avengers #1?

Yep, not blown away, but I'm interested in what Aaron has to offer. It feels like it's been a while since the Avengers assembled to face such a great threat.

Damn, this Superman sale. So much to choose from so little time...

All these blockbuster sales due to Infinity War are sure helping me get good sized chunks crossed off on my list.

I ultimately decided on the one that was on sale.

Epic Collections seem to be the way Marvel does their classic collections right now.

I also bought Demon in a Bottle and Armor Wars off of an Iron Man sale.

Nice! Hope you like Op Rebirth! I personally like Waid’s take on Cap. That opening issue in particular is a great story about Cap without him actually being involved. As for the IM books - Good choices!

I’m having a bit of a hard time choosing regarding a collection.

There’s a Captain America sale, and an Operation Rebirth TPB is on it(the type with the all black cover). But my dilemma is weather I should get that collection, or wait to get the Epic Collection at a later date.

Honestly I'm not sure it really matters, if I'm not mistaken, they'll collect the same things (later prints of Operation Rebirth included the Man Without A Country arc as well). This particular arc of Captain America ended the series, so I don't think there's anything the Epic Collection can really add to it since I doubt they'll put in the previous story arc - Fighting Chance.

Right now, my priority is Modern era stuff. Once all that’s out of the way, I’ll shift my focus to the classics.

In that case try the Waid/Wieringo/Porter FF run

There currently a Fantastic Four sale and a Wolverine Essentials sale, needless to say, I’m going to cross a lot of stuff off my list.

Good to know, the Kirby/Lee run is a must read, I would also recommend the John Byrne run during the 80s. If you want you can also see if the New Fantastic Four arc by Simonson and Adams is on sale. It’s from 347-349 I think.

Barry was only mildly entertaining during all the Brightest day stuff. After that he become boring. Then he was handled poorly with the Nu52.

Agreed. I think Johns was planning on some interesting stuff but got derailed by the new direction of Flashpoint and the reboot.

I recently read the Legacy are for All-New Wolverine, I can see why it’s called one of Marvel’s best current comics.

I recent development has forced me to rethink my comic reading order, my iPad has run out of room.

At this point - Avengers by Aaron, I haven’t been disappointed by most of his Marvel work lately so hoping he’ll hit this out of the park. Also expecting good things with Cates’ Venom. I want to try out Spencer’s ASM and hope he can make it as good as his Superior Foes of Spider-Man run.

Hopefully June will be a lot more packed with New #1’s.

      Omegashark18
Well yeah, Avengers, Black Panther, and Venom are all relaunching.

While Iron Man, Spider-Man, Thor, and Deadpool all conclude.

Everything else looks up in the air. Sans the comics that were absent from the solicitations all together.

So it seems that the fresh start won’t really get rolling until June.

Guess May can be considered a transitionary month.

Actually a bunch does kick off in May. The June releases are the next wave.

Some people have wondered if this will be Marvel’s Rebirth. Let us hope it is true, cause they need it.

It's going to be more of the same. They're not bringing in any new writers.

Sometimes direction matters. Technically DC didn’t get any new writers on their books, but got a new direction and gave writers different books. It worked for them.

A question, how long to it take for a TPB to come out after an arc ends?

        Star Saber
Really depends, sometimes a month or two after, sometimes after the HC
