Yeah. I did make sure to have the character be fairly background (his role? Tactician and Organizer. Not glamorous).

I also agree; too much fan interference is a BAD thing.

Coolest thing he let me do was pitch an OC idea to him.

He liked it, even though the character has some crazy-ass colors and a nonstandard vehicle mode.
