I actually got the Puzzler gift set as a kid one year for Christmas. The reason I remember this is that Mom let me open one gift early, and I'd picked it (not knowing it was Puzzler). Later on, it went into the yard sale pile one year, much to my regret. It's been one of those thing I really wanted to get, but other things were higher up the priority list. I just happened upon a deal the other day :)

Yeah, I think you did all you could do with that situation. I think with as much sales as you seem to keep going on, you'll be able to move on an not skip a beat even :)

Hey bud! Got your pm and I'm lying down for sleepy time. Fatherhood is great and even better than I'd holed (hoped for a lot too :)). I really enjoyed your commissioner answers in Creative GD.

Thought you'd like to know I got a Gobot Puzzler this past weekend. It totally rocks man. I had one as a kid and have wanted it back for ages. Now I need some more of them Turd Lords. Coolest Transformers ever.

Sorry, I didn't mean to discourage you. I just thought that a couple of the rationales you applied had fatal flaws in them, and distracted from your last point, which was much more on the money. I wasn't trying to be dismissive (though maybe a bit challenging). I love the toys and the mythos both, but in a way they are on two completely different paths... a sort of haptic, aesthetic path with my appreciation of the toys themselves, and the more conservative, clinical relationship I have with the fiction, inherited from my overly-serious childhood self. :)

I think that, as the fiction (or version of it, I guess) becomes more sophisticated or interesting, the more it justifies the investment of adult fans. The recent IDW comics are probably the best thing to ever happen in offical TF fiction, so I'm pretty stoked about that.

Pffft. Nah. I didn't even notice that. I was just hassling you about the gender thing. :)

You seemed to get pretty PO'd so I wanted to make sure we're good.

Just giving you the "hey, are we cool?" punch on the arm here. :)

I have been a long time member of SNK-Capcom Dot Com and one guy was saying how bad that forum is at giving out red rep for no reason so I told him I would join to see if it was just him.

      Yep, it's just him, haha.
