(Post is too long again so this is post 1 of 2) I am hanging in there as best as I can. My son has been having seizures. They just started randomly last month. They are grand mal seizures and are painful to watch because there isn't anything one can do in a seizure. After the first seizure they transferred him to Northridge hospital because they had a pediatric trauma unit. After the second seizure I about lost it. When he had the first seizure his eeg and mri were normal and the doctor said that sometimes kids have one seizure and it's random and never happens again and with his autism my son is 20% more likely to have a seizure in his lifetime.
I'm pretty much in perpetual roadtrip mode lately, lol. I was on the road for about a month around Halloween, then hit the road for another month-and-a-half after New Year's Eve, and I've barely been home and I'm looking to head out again pretty soon! I might be home for about a month or so between now and August so I'm mostly just working my ass off to save up as much $$$ for the trip as I can! I've still been thinking a LOT about TF:AoE and have been keeping EXTENSIVE notes but it feels like I'm NEVER got get the time to finally crank out my essays for it. :'(

3 of 3 So we didn't tell him I was home when my husband went to pick him up from school so when he came home and rounded the corner to see me there and his face lit up and he cried "Mommy!" and ran to hug me, nothing like it in the world I tell you, nothing like it. We cuddled for a while and played a game together. My husband is still unemployed so that hasn't changed. My body feels like total and utter crap. I didn't sleep in the hospital maybe two hours at most so my body is catching up on much needed sleep and I am sleeping about 12-14 hours the past couple of nights. I feel like I have no stamina, just the smallest thing and I am SPENT! How are you doing? It really means a lot to me that you check up on me like this honestly. my own family hasn't even called to see how I am. It feels good to know that someone out there cares enough to just ask how are you? So thank you. How are you doing, tell me about your life too.
2 of 3 About my 3rd day there they noticed my heart was palpitating and beating incorrectly. Then I had to wait for a cardiac consult while they monitored my heart trying to find some sort of rhyme or reason for the irregular beats. After a while my lungs cleared after multiple rounds of IV antibiodics and steroids and the cardiologist referred me out to an electro physiologist that I could see out patient. So on Wednesday (after eight days) I finally got to go home. It was good too because I missed my son so much. Due to the flu season and rules of the hospital my autistic son couldn't visit me. He was going nuts at home because mommy wasn't there and naturally for an autistic kid his routine is upset and everything goes to hell in a hand basket from there. He was whiny and acting up at school because he missed me but he can't just outright say I miss mommy so it comes out in other ways.
I apparently have to send this is a series of posts because it is too long here is post 1 of 3 I just got out of the hospital after an eight day stay. Surprisingly it wasn't about my normal abdominal stuff. You might hear on the news about the flu superbug that has killed 2 people and hospitalized 6. Well I had a superbug but in the bronchitis form. It started with a sore throat thought I had strep, then I lost my voice, started coughing and it got worse. I couldn't breathe. When I got to the ER and saw the line out the door just to check in I knew I couldn't wait so I went straight to the front (and I NEVER cut in line) and told them I couldn't breathe so they put me on the O2 monitor and sure enough my oxygen sats were in the 70's. Anything under 92 is concerning, 70's is deadly bad. So they put me on oxygen and put me straight in the back. They ended up admitting me and I was on a heart monitor the whole time.

No unfortunately husband and I are not getting along and with the new year brings new insurance problem p,us I slipped and fell at work and they think I tore my meniscus and acl ligament thus needing surgery and getting everything approved takes SO long. Even after my hysterectomy I am having problems and they don't kniwnwhy they think it's my bladder but I have no urologists on my plan real nice huh? I'm getting really depressed over this. Right now I am sitting in a doctors office and they are running one hour late stupid assholes
