I like the '50s myself. It's one of my favorite time periods.

No, I haven't. Never even heard of the book.

Oh, she wrote "Devil Wears Prada."

I'm mostly a fan of sci-fi and fantasy books. I'm really not too big on other genres.

First Blood is very good. It's more a psychological movie than an action movie. Definitely worth a watch.

Haven't seen the fourth. Of the three I've seen... hmm. First Blood Part II or Rambo 3? Tough call. Probably FB PII. Too much of an 80s classic action film to ignore.

Definitely the latest one. It's just brutal and makes a wonderful statement about the world. Though they're all pretty poignant when you analyze their subtext. Which is yours?

Not much. I just picked up a Bludgeon, and I love him! :D How about you?

Seriously? I'll have to record that! :D

      Hi dude,
Great point on Tom Baker, I started with the revival and enjoyed most of the first couple of series enough to try the Classic era and I started with "Genesis of the Daleks" on DVD. By part 2 I was convinced nobody was better.

Just over 3 years later I have a collection of over 50 Classic DVD's including all of Tom's stories that have been released so far and my opinion of the current series is all but dead though I'm considering giving it one final shot now there's a regime change.

I'm not 100% sure but I think Smith has said he's a fan of Troughton which is potentially very good news. It is also worth baring in mind that his agent Wendy Padbury is no stranger to the show as she played Zoe Heriot who was a companion of Patrick Troughton's 2nd Doctor in the late 60's so there's bound to be some influence passed on there as well.

If you want to check out Doctors 2 & 3 I recommend these stories,

2nd Doctor ( Only a few of his stories remain in existence )
      "Tomb of the Cybermen"
      "The Invasion"
      "The Seeds of Death"

      3rd Doctor
      "The Daemons"
      "Inferno"
      "Spearhead from Space"
      "The Sea Devils"

It's freebie no matter what. I think they should should bench all their starters and anyone with even the hint of injury/recovering, since it really doesn't matter whether they win or lose.

Looks like that's going to be his catchphrase. :lol

The last toy I really want from Who is The Sixth Master in his End of Time garb, although the sonic does look nice. :D

I know. I was crying throughout those last few minutes.

He does, I'm super excited for series 5. Smith actually made me forget that last sentence for a second. :lol

I absolutely love it. It's ranking pretty high up there with Rebirth and SCW so far, though I'd suggest getting the hardcovers since DC takes so long to publish trades.

It's a toss up between Connery and Moore for me. Connery had the blunt brutality of the character down pat, and Moore perfected the image of sophisticated English spy. Daniel Craig is my third favorite with Casino Royale/QOS being one of the best Bond films ever. Then Brosnan with Daulton and Lazenby rounding out the line up. Who is yours?
