I doubt I'll be using it much as an internet browser, but since it's my younger son's (he's 8)I don't really want him fiddling with it, at least where/when we can't watch him. He's already tried it with his older brother apparently, with no success.

It looks like you can use internet with PSP, but how does it work? I assume you can connect with an access point (is wi-fi an access point?), but is there any protection available (against virus and such) or it is not necessary?
