That part I can't really say fer sure man. but it did happened to one of my frens MP-Prime. he had that thing MISB for the longest time & one day after I reminded him abt the leakage thingie, he quickly open it up.

It was quite messy but he managed to clean it.

Oh not really. it's rather easy. 'coz the battery compartment is at the back of the robot's body & not in some hidden, hard to find location.

Just a small screwdriver would suffice.
