To be honest...I'm on the same boat with the Disney's as well. I just watched "Emperor's New Groove" for the first time recently, and now I still need to watch "Lilo & Stitch". After re-watching "Lion King", I can see how I liked it as a kid, but not so much now (save for "Be Prepared).

The actual big scene to watch is the opening raiding the beach on D-Day. That's all you need to get hooked, and if ya don't, then no biggie, war flicks just aren't for everyone. But Full Metal Jacket just can't not be awesome, the bootcamp half of the film is the most memorable.

I just happen to know the perfect cure for that. Watch "Full Metal Jacket" then "Saving Private Ryan", you'll appreciate and get into war movies (and documentaries, and guns) really fast, a great combo of comedy and action. Learning what I have, is why the Combaticons in my comic are going to be awesome, and done right by kicking real ass.

Aww, when I initially saw the Combaticon love, I (mistakenly) thought it was combat-love in general like me, (hence why "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu is my favorite book) haha.

Hmm, seeing as how you're a Combaticons fan, I wonder if a certain Lob-Lob has ambitions to join the Armed Forces. :D

Or does your interest for combat, warfare and military pretty much stay in media and entertainment?

      Yeah, I know...

Don't worry, though, I'll be beating myself up plenty if it isn't there tomorrow.

There's a Grievous keychain? *adds to list*

To be honest, I'm only mildly interested in Demise and the Wheelbike, but I've always wanted the Clone Wars Grievous (especially given how much win his first appearance was), and for $3, I'd be stupid to pass on it (please ignore the fact that I already passed on it last week :lol).

You got Matthew Wood's autograph!? Color me jealous :lol.

Right now I have 5 Grievous toys (including Qymaen jai Sheelal). I'm hoping to get more tomorrow, though, as last week I saw the Grievous toy from the original Clone Wars cartoon, the Demise of Grievous toy, and (best of all) a Grievous wheelbike at a flea market last week (hope they're still there).

Thanks :D! I'm kind of a Grievous fanboy. I guess I wouldn't have two of the same Grievous figure (gonna be three when I find the caped VC version) if I wasn't :lol.

      Also, Onslaught rules.

Nah, you don't sound stupid, I know a lot of people who've never used eBay or PayPal, so this isn't unfamiliar territory.

It's really strange that they're demanding a bank account, they shouldn't be. I've never had to confirm mine, but time to time they'll try to be pushy and say, 'hey, this'll make things easier', but I basically say 'fuck off and let me finish my transaction'. There should be other options on those pages to basically say "no means no, mister".

Yes, that is indeed what online banking is; to be in charge of watching and knowing how your finances are is a relieving, necessary (and stressful) subject.

Crap, like I said, I never linked it to my bank account so I don't know if it's instant or not (that also may depend on how fast your bank transfers info). Do you happen to have online banking? If so, you could check the info on your account to see if any deposits have been made, and it'll show you the date, from where, amounts, etc. If you don't, you'll probably just have to go to your bank in person and ask.

You should also be able to link up prepaid cards to PayPal, like rechargeable kinds you can get at Wal-Mart and stuff. Your debit card also works on PayPal, you could link that. If you don't have a debit card, it's probably good that you get one, it'll be pretty useful for life in general. Just go to your bank and ask about it.

You actually DON'T have to link it to your Bank Account, I don't, I think that's a tad risky. And make deposits on what, Paypal? As far as I'm aware, that's not necessary. You just need to link a card to the account, then whenever you make purchases or send money, it'll draw from the card when needed.

      I do, yes.

Maybe as a family trip, but sooner or later people tend to flock back here either as a sweet vacation spot, or to live here. Or did ya just not care for it, if not, then you still to experience San Diego (and MAYBE San Francisco, but meh, not my thing). SD kicks raging amounts of ass.

Well I'm guessing you're either in college or about to go to college, so it shouldn't be hard for ya to make friends with homies over 21 that'd be willing to pick up some stuff at the local BevMo or Total Wine (the latter is frickin' awesome). If you do get the chance, try tasting something not so mainstream, let me know, and we'll see if I can help ya expand yer tastes.

If you ever come back out here to Cali, I'll hook ya up with some tasty tasty beverages. :D

Wait, you're a chick? Hmm...probably should've checked out your "About Me" earlier.

Yes, you don't know a lot about booze yet, but I certainly hope you do learn more. An educated drunk is the best kind of drunk (don't even need to be drunk).

Who knows, maybe one day you'll step up to the plate and be one of the few chicks who enjoys the darkness, heaviness, flavorfulitality of stouts. Dark and heavy, like my metal.

HOLY CRAP, World of Color is amazing! I honestly didn't think I was going to like it (being a metalhead, wrestler, etc...), but I was blown away by it, especially towards the end with the Chernabog and the fire.

As for beer, yes it is definitely an acquired taste, but, to be honest, don't acquire a taste for that disgusting piss water. There is shitty beer (unfortunately, what your average person drinks/inhales) and there are actually good, artisan crafted brews. What beer was it that you tasted? Bud Light? Miller Lite? Some other widely produced crap? I hate those with a seething passion; I tasted my first beer when I was 20, before that, I had a hatred for alcohol in general because I knew that horrid combined smell of under-quality ingredients put together for a quick buck. Then something happened and I decided to give beer a try (Natural Light), IT WAS SHIT! Disgusting, like mold and rotten jock straps.

If you can get your hands on it, I'd recommend this super awesome raisin ale called "Lost & Found" by the Lost Abbey Brewery. It costs a bit more but it's very top quality, it's the second beer I tasted, and the first good one I ever had. It made me genuinely love real carefully produced beer from then on, in only a few short months, I became the beer connoisseur and go-to guy amongst my peers. The only mass-produced beer I drink is Sam Adams (mainly their delicious Boston Lager), they're an actually good company, otherwise, it's smaller micro-brews that do the job. And yes, Corona sucks, and no Tequila will not "fuck you up" if it's only 80 proof, I have a 107 proof Bourbon that'll do that job for ya.

As you can tell, I'm very passionate about my beer (and alcohol in general).

Last thing on the subject, don't be afraid to drink Smirnoff Ice just because it's "girly", a man's gotta love the taste of the booze he drinks (the green apple rocks). Only dumbasses pound stuff that tastes shitty just to get drunk.

Oh snap, really? I'm right around that area, in fact, I may've got ya and 2 others into D-Land for free (I gots the hookups). I would've suggested you check out the Karl Strauss stand over at California Adventure, but I see you're only 18 so no beer drinkin' for ya yet.

Sunset Strip, "in the hood"? HAH! Cocaine and freaks, maybe, but hood, nah. Unless you go to the obviously shady areas and alleyways, you'll be fine. South Centeral is "in the hood", though, I got my car broken into and my Zune stolen from me. That's the price of going to see a good metal show.

How'd you enjoy LA (assuming you left already)? Did you get into any drunken brawls on the Sunset Strip?
