I don't know what to do about his legs, Shockwave's legs are rather different than Megatron's. For his chest, you'll need something to create something to attatch to Megs's chest. Underneath that you might be able to get away with just repainting? This is reaaallly vague, sorry.
It mainly would requires something like Styrene for the extra bits. Stryene or something to make them, anyway. So you'd remove the cannon off his arm, hinge and all, this goes on his back. Hopefully, though I've never tested this, it would be able to swing round and look decent :P Obviously the barrel will need to be altered someway, as it's far too round to be shockwave. The arm the cannon was on should be sanded to remove the gun stuff, etc. Obviously painting and whatever will come later. I'm not sure what to do about the head, though. His other arm should be likewise sanded or something to remove the gun parts. The hand should be cut off and replaced with (again) something that could be used as his gun hand. Obviously this'll stick out in gun mode, but you can't have everything.
I mainly only collect the teenies. For want of better phrase, I can't be arsed with the bigger ones. I had an idea to turn RTS Legends Megatron into an (imperfect) Shockwave, want to hear about it?
