      My Takara version of TLK Megatron was better than my Hasbro version. My takara copy still had a few of the issues that the my hasbro copy had. Namely the head gimmick. Now, if you decided to buy one, you might get a copy that's better. I don't want to try to influence you one way or the other. I just want you to know that I got the Takara version hoping that it was better and the copy I received wasn't.

        No issues with the head gimmick. I had an issue with the Hasbro version where I manually pulled the face horns initially and that messed up the mechanism

        Oh gotcha. Yea, the gimmick on my hasbro version didn't work either. I have to do it manually as well.
