Yeah, def grab Ironhide and Sideswipe. Worst case they don't outdo BB down the road, but the original won't be hard to find. He's anything but shortpacked and will probably see revisions. I'm skipping the current Primes to get Fireburst, because he just looks awesome. He's a different enough Prime that if a deffinative DOTM Prime comes out later I won't feel like I'm replacing him.
I must say, I think DOTM Bumblebee is an improvement over Battleblades. He's squatter, more bulky like the movie model, accomplishes more with fewer steps, making it just a more fun to handle toy. And you can actually tuck his backpack under his doors, with his spoiler part sticking out, to approximate his wings and just remove the big backpacks BB is alway saddled with. Plus he's the only BB toy since the first movie line to have useful arms. Really all he's lacking is some paint on the legs, and belly, which is weird since if they didn't needlessly paint his rims to be less accurate, they could've painted his toes and/or belly.
:/ Not really. Only one cannon, which isn't accurate to either of his movie ones. Very lanky and weird ass arms. Plus his chest doesn't sit evenly, and his vehicle mdoe is full of holes.
He's shor, squat, obscenely accurate, has the best vehicle mode out of any Ironhide toys, and is fucking solid. (don't listen to the naysayers, his chest does peg into place, it's just not an obvious solution) If the light blue was silver or black, and he had a left arm cannon instead of a deployable turret he'd be perfect.
