As for how long it takes it depends on the size of the project..The large ones with the lady and flowers took weeks..smaller ones about a week..its a lot of back and forth, you work from the back and then refine the contours on the front..lots of handling back and forth, then you use drywall filler to "fill" in the back so the image holds its shape(s)..I have most of my tools from Mexico, never see them here..but I have found a couple of things online..plus the metal is special--for the best results--not just the craft metal you see in Michael's or Hobby Lobby..I love doing it, and I was taught by a Mexican lady who came to our casa as I did not have a car at first in Mexico..As you can imagine, its one of the biggest crafts there along with beading, which I also do. whew:D

Don't worry I don't plan to stop, it's like we actually talk about anything I want to pay attention to in class! Good luck on your math, glad to hear it's coming along for you. I have to do my math over the summer or next spring, since they don't offer it in the fall. :/

Oh my professor walked over to my desk while I was doodling in my notebook and told me I should go be a tattoo artist. I wasn't sure if I should be insulted or not, because I am in a graduate program for something other than art... so I was like is she giving me a hint or does she really like my work? I think she was angry I don't pay attention in class and draw the whole time. I sit front row right in front of her. :lol I just don't care if she sees me, at least I stay awake for the most part.
