How close? I have family in Richardson and Garland... but I wanna be close and I'd LOVE to stay away from the "Hey Chris.... why don't you come over and help me change out that transmission" lol

For those of you looking for other hotels - the Hyatt is close to Union Station, which is on the red and blue train lines, also easily accessible from the green line - there's a lot of hotels on those lines as well. Check the hotel location against the rail map DART.org - DART Rail System Map, pick a station for the google maps location, then search nearby for hotels. There's a lot near the LBJ/Central station that might be cheap. There are also some Aloft and Element hotels downtown that might be cheap. The Sheraton Dallas and Marriott City Center are at Pearl Station, about a 10 minute train ride from the Hyatt. A day pass costs a few dollars a day.

*edit* If you're unsure about an area or a hotel, ask me or post in the Texas Sightings thread - there's a lot of people from all over the DFW area that can give you more details
