It has a lot more places to venture to and a more in depth story. I've read that people didn't like the second one cause of smaller area. Idk, I liked them both. They both have their good points. I've never played those type of games on a console, so I don't know how the game at is. I'm sure it's not that different than on a computer. I just finished the first one today for the third time. So I guess together I've played through them maybe about 8 times. It doesn't get boring cause you have so many choices that each play through is different. I was actually one of those people who got a feedback questionnaire from Bioware about what you may want to see for DA: III. I guess I played it so much that I was deemed worthy of input. :lol

I usually play as a duel weapon rogue. I think the warriors are to slow when they fight and I just can't get the hang of playing as a mage. Plus I like to be up there in the fight and not standing back throwing spells. There is a ton more I could say about them, but I don't want to give too much away.

The world of Dragon Age: Origins (aka 1) is much larger and I guess the story is more involved. It definately takes longer to finish if you do each and everything that you've been asked to do. Dragon Age II is mostly just going in and out of its city to the close surrounding areas. That was one of the complaints people had about it. It also doesn't take as long to go through.
I guess for the most part you can travel wherever you want, whenever you want. Most areas get unlocked when you get a quest, but its up to you when you want to do the quest and can travel to and from said area as much as you like. Its not like you have to do things in a certain order. You can have a bunch of different quests for different areas at once, so its up to you how you want to go through the story.

I'm debating on getting it for my Xbox or the PC that I have but don't use. I was raised on Mac's and just never grew to like PC's. I've never played any of the TF games. I don't think I would be very good at them. I'm better at fantasy RPGs. I've thought about joining the online Warcraft, but don't want to play with people I don't know then piss them off if I screw up a battle. I wish you could play that as a solo campaign. Anywho, I saw that Skyrim was going online next year so that will be cool (I hope :)), also Dragon Age III is coming out next yr I think. :D

I never asked you if you've played Skyrim? I know you asked me if I've played. I'm thinking about maybe getting it. Play something other than Dragon Age for a while. :)

Discovery Kids is still Discovery Kids here in Guatemala. (it was said in 2010 that it wont change to the hub cause the latin america DK is popular, cause of that hub shows will air in diff channel networks, however 2 hub shows chuck and Friends and My Little Pony FIM do air in DK)

If you do decide to play Dragon Age let me know and I can let you know about the differences between Origins and the second one. There are some differences both good and bad between them, so if you only wanted to buy one it may be good to hear about their differences so you can choose the one you like better. :)

Is Dragon Age fun.....let's put it this way, since June I've replayed both of them at least 4 times each. It seems to have consumed my life. :lol I always liked those kinda games, but was never all that good at them. I guess all it took was practice, now I can finish them in under a week. My bioware profile is chock full of achievements. But anyways. They are fun and I would get them if your bored and looking for something to pass the time. But beware, you might start playing and then see that you've been at it for like 5hrs and didn't realize it. :lol

Going great. A lot of studying and responsibility, but that's a part of life.
