You're absolutely right; you asked me for updated pics years ago. The figure's currently packed (just move into a new apt), so I don't have hime readily available right now - but I will dig him out to see if I can't get some cleaner shots on my new phone (old=galaxys1, new=galaxys5).

Oh I thought you meant the toy had the best example of how Grimlock cg model is like. I cannot wait for Dinobot screen shots or CG models.

Niether the Voyager or the Leader is exactly accurate.
The Leader's dino torso makes the mode too long in the ribs & the lack of a bot mode hip skirt is what killed it for me - plus it lacks the more correct wasp waist that the CG model has.
The Voyager's dino feet are too big (including the metatarsals) - but the tail is more accurately proportioned than the Leader & it's missing the rear twin skirts found on the CG model & the Leader.

Both have the bot chest armor wrong, as the CG model sports twin T-rex skulls for shoulder armor.
As this is impossible in plastic form - the Voyager is more accurate, with the upper mandible facing outward.

Screenshots from AOE will be released soon, can't wait then we'll all get a better look at things...I hope.

So you're saying the toy is accurate to the movie model?

Unfortunately - but getting them allowed me to see that the Voyager mold is the most accurate.
