Salutations. Any fresh kills to report?

Was just a fortunate happenstance since I was nosing around ASDA every morning back then. These days I'm lucky if I get in there once a fortnight so I've probably missed out on a lot of short-term offers.

Dune Buggy 60145? I've got that one. Picked it up when it first came out and ASDA were selling it plus the Stunt Truck 69146 and Race Plane 60144 for £5 each. All three are pretty neat little sets.

I also felt a lack of Lego-y-ness about the Batman Movie. I mainly disliked that they didn't do water and smoke as bricks like the Lego Movie did, plus the figures in the Batman Movie bent in ways real Minifigures could never do.

I'm waiting for Asda to do another round of their regular Lego discounts. There's recent City sets I'd like to buy, but not at full whack.

I would love to have some Lego trains, but definitely the big obstacle is the price.

Believe it or not I've only purchased one Lego set since our last exchange and that was the Riddle Racer. As usual, purchased mainly because it was on offer, £10 off. :p
Have you seen the Lego Batman Movie yet? And if so, what was your impression of it?

I'm mainly a City collector myself since it's pretty cheap compared to the other sets, Star Wars particularly. Although I do have a few SW sets and a KO of the Millennium Falcon from The Force Awakens which is pretty neat.
My budget has been rather tight recently, but I did pick up The Penguin's Arctic Roller from the Lego Batman Movie when it was reduced a bit which was rather satisfying.

It should, I think someone just did that. I am obviously beaten to the game by Hasbro. Still, I like my design as it has a proper mushroom joint and I am working on painting him.

SG really had some good storytelling going on, my only gripe was that some character's personas seemed rather random.

SG is ok. And yes I agree with you! It would work as a SG Ratchet. :)

I saw that alphatron creep is on your friends list. Take him off.

He targets female (or supposedly female) users, prying into their personal info and trying to hook up with them. He came after me once (even though I'm not female) and tried guilt tripping me into adding him onto his friend list. I managed to stop him, but I went through his VMs and a lot of the convos he has with other users are pretty invasive.

He's banned right now, but he'll probably be back. Just avoid him.
