Tbh DJing and sound effects have always been something I've found interesting. Not something I'd have the patience to do, but it can make or break a movie.

Especially these days with surround sound and whatnot, it seems to be getting more complicated.

Dunno about architecture, but it certainly can get crazy in my field- usually due to clients not realizing what a realistic time-frame for a project is. And how could they? Because nobody wants to sit there and say "It ain't happening. You needed to hand this to me 3 days ago like I asked." Architecture is probably the same way?

Do you have clients in the SFX business?
    3. EnergonWaffles
Yeah it's a great way to make a living if you love doing it- it's just you have to be able to love doing stuff for other people. Because you aren't making what you want to make, you're offering your services to make what they would make if they could.

So you're in the SFX business? What exactly does a sound engineer do? I know it takes quite a bit of patience and practice- tried playing with Audacity and it takes hours to get things right (maybe thats because I'm such a noob at it, though) x.x

Not too much creative work for fun these days- graphic design is my job now so most of it's boring work related stuff. Tried to start some customs but life keeps getting in the way. Most of my time on here is spent doing Staffy stuff, so nah not really.

I did start collecting Beast Machine figures. They're so terrible they're adorable XD

Any creative pursuits for you lately?

ha yes I took 3 years of Spanish and while I don't remember most of it (it was 8 years ago), it did cause a lot of "AHA" moments. One of the biggest for me was realizing that our word "to" was a multitasker. We use it for ablatives and a few other things.
As expected (of course I'll recommend it)- I'd recommend at least 1 semester of Latin if you want a good base for learning all the Romance languages.

My favorite spoken languages are tied between Welsh and Hawaiian. They're so pretty.

I'm sorry adamban- didn;t mean to ignore your message. Just got busy and haven't been on as much.

So which is your favorite? French or German?
    7. EnergonWaffles
Lol hey man! How you been?

Thanks- I cant draw Transformers freehand to save my life. Almost everything I do on TFW is photoplasty (largest one so far was 156 images used).

Always glad to meet other artists! You should post your stuff in the FanArt thread. Id love to see it!

I'm doing well and I hope you are too. :)

That's not a bad idea, it could work! :)

Personally, there's so many cool TF characters as it is, and Gender's never been important to me. If they wanna add a few more female TF's, they should. I'd really like to see Road Rage, Rosanna, Clipper, Strika, Shadow Striker, Roulette, Flamewar and a few others added to the IDW Series, but I wouldn't be horribly bothered if they weren't. :)
    13. Novaburnhilde
      Ooooo, sounds like fun!

Yeah, thats a lot of figures. @_______@ I'm excited about that too.
    14. Novaburnhilde

I'm doing alright, how are you? :)

With Port Lincoln being the most backwards city in Australia... no, not really. I did find a Year of the Snake Energon Optimus Prime though. But... nyeh... not interested in Fatimus Prime.

Sorry its been so long. It's been a bit hectic down here too. Lots of fires, school, etc, etc. I actually really wanted to find other collectors in Tassie for a while, but never got around to it. I've been wondering who else is out there. Found one :)

I'm not sure if this has been covered, but I'll look into it for you. If it was recently posted to the BBTS facebook news feed it should be new. Thanks.

      hey hey, how've you been?
      I wish I took more photos of dark Guard Optimus, but as he was the third of the same mould I got, I ran out of poses and ideas >_<;
RK's been good to us, aren't they? I'm almost done with using proxy in Japan and getting stuff from RK instead.

      Hey Adambman

I was hoping I'd find another Tasmanian on here. Where about do you come from? And if you know of any other Tassie people on here, let me know.

    20. SydneyY
wow $3000+ is indeed a lot of money! I guess perhaps you can negotiate with the seller if the lot stays on eBay for a long time. I assume it's international, and the shipping will be quite expensive if it's not included? I am not familiar with the going rates for BTs these days, are there many that fetches $100+?

TFP Arcee is great IMO, I prefer that mould to FE. As for myself, after some consideration I decided to drop Silas Breakdown, and preordered only Nemesis Prime :)
