The Conclusion Of The Unicron Trilogy!

Unicron has been defeated, but his destruction has created a black hole, which is threatening the Autobots’ home world of Cybertron. It’s up to Optimus Prime, his team of heroic Autobots and their new human friends — Coby, Lori and Bud — to secure the four mystical Cyber Planet Keys, in order to destroy the black hole. Unfortunately, Megatron and the Decepticons are always lurking. And if the Cyber Planet Keys fall into their hands, it could mean the end of life as we know it. The race is on!

This was probably the best part of the Unicron Trilogy, with the best toys.

I have the previous DVD set with the replaced error dvd on volume one.

So I don't really need this one. Definitely getting the animated complete series one though.

If this was galaxy force subbed, bought on spot. The series was amazing.

Being cybertron, I'm going to have to pass on a horrible dub and forced "trilogy" ending. I couldn't sit through an entire episode of it when it was on tv, no way I can take watching the entire mangled series now.

Really sad that there isn't japanese language with subtitle option.

Transformers has slowly been going downhill ever since Cybertron ended. Now look where we're at. The toys are absolutely horrible now. I saw some of the new AOE toys next to the Titan Heroes today & it made me want to puke. Cybertron was the high point for me, now I hardly even bother with Transformers anymore. While all you guys waste your money on the latest garbage Hasbro has been crapping out I've moved on to better things. I don't miss collecting Transformers at all.

Cover art is pretty bad, IMHO. The Galaxy Force DVD's had some pretty fantastic art.

As for the series itself, a HUGE improvement over the previous two series, but still painful to watch when compared to Galaxy Force (my sig pretty much says it all). I was smart enough to burn the TV Nihon subs of Super Link and Galaxy Force, so that I don't have to watch those Primus-forsaken dubs. Still holding out hope that somebody, someday will sub Micron Densetsu! PLEASE!!!!!

But yes, if they'd release subbed versions of the 'trilogy-that's-not-really-a-trilogy' I'd be all over them. As it is, pass.

    Wow, lotta naysayers here.

Can't say Cybertron was perfect, but it's definitely the best of the "Unicron Trilogy," and honestly the forced attempts at making it a trilogy are so few, I barely even noticed watching through it. (For the record, my wife and I just marathoned Armada and Cybertron a few months back - tried to watch Energon too, but that didn't make it past episode 2.) I found it enjoyable and the characters had some pretty impressively serious moments for what it was. Looking forward to adding this to the shelf.

...then why the monkey are you here? Unless it's to shit on people who still enjoy collecting the toys now, I see absolutely no reason.

Did you watch GF though? The differences might be a lot more drastic if you have. GF, to me, is probably the best animated series. I just loved everything about it. Probably why I felt like I got kicked in the nuts when I tried to watch cybertron. It just felt like a watered down mess of what GF was.

I'm just not sure why the og japanese track with subs would have been that hard of an extra option. Not like they didn't just do that for HM, MF, and Victory.
