    2014 might very well be the Year Of The Pirate!

    We already have the 20th Anniversary season Power Rangers Super Megaforce which is adapted from the pirate-themed Gokaiger, and now this!

    I don't know, maybe pirates are the hot thing this year...

    I think this is a brilliant move. They've milked a lot of the other directions and ideas like Shattered Glass, etc. They needed a new direction... and something that would make a great new mini-toyline and mini-faction, so to speak.

    If Serenity and Han Solo are any indicators, space pirates make for exciting misadventures, rough and tumble characters, and hopefully a treasure hunt FTW! Getting excited.

    Cool! Maybe they'll take some tidbits and backstory from that failed Chinese game with star seekers to base the set around? Anything to give Thundertron some more cronies to kick around.
