Seems like a fairly new, unknown actress. Nothing major, just thought I'd share. https://twitter.com/VictoriaSummer/status/366459835685941250
Don't know who she is, but hope she gets a chance to shine in TF4. I get the feeling this'll be a real breakout movie for Reynor, Peltz, and this chick, just like TF1 was for Megan Fox.
Oh goody, another human. That said, I do like that Bay at least brings in unknown actors for these movies. It helps to make it easier to get absorbed into the world when you're not constantly thinking "oh shi, Tom Cruise (or any other big star) is being attacked by some robots."
This movie keeps piling on the human characters. It's obvious where this is going to go. Lots of money in the bank, but just drones of mindless people coming out of the theaters... Sadly, no matter how interesting they make the bots... it's not going to bring me in. I can't stand the human-fest...
I do believe that the movie will take place on planet Earth where there are billions of people, so I do think that there will be many humans.
The thing is, for a big budget movie like Transformers human cast is important. You see, pleasing the fans alone can’t bring in money. Movie makers try to please the general audience in order to earn more money. Good looking actors, popular actors… they bring in the audience. Whether or not Michael Bay directs, even the next movies may do the same. They’ll follow the same formula. You know what they say “If it ain’t broken, why fix it?”. You guys watched G. I. Joe: Retaliation right? It’s a prime example of fans are hard to please. They changed the director and followed a formula more towards the original concepts. It managed to bring in a little more… but not much. G. I. Joe franchise is still hanging in balance. I’m pleased with Michael Bay’s work because it kept the franchise alive. Easily, Transformers could have gone the path of G. I. Joe franchise. But in a certain way Bay did save it. I’m grateful for that. The runaway success of 2007’s Transformers movie led to the revival of many of Hasbro’s brands. Hasbro in return is grateful as far as I know. New actors… I don’t mind. This is Hollywood afterall… whatever the franchise it may be… it exists to please the general audience and rake in some cash.
Given the depths of her previous roles she's probably in a micro-role with one line at most - think the girl whose car developed an All-Spark-activated steering wheel in the first film. Still, let's not let that likelihood stand in the way of a good WAHHHHHHH NOT MUH TRANSFORMURZ, eh?
guys we all know the real reason some of you are mad about this. You don't have to be ashamed, no one will laugh at you. Just adjust your seating position and tuck in your boner and enjoy the movie
