As reported in the original Quakewave topic, it looks like we are getting at least one repaint of Quakewave! Not sure if this is an exclusive release but Edbomber posted it first on his Facebook account.

Pretty excited for this release! As a kid, I didn't have a purple Shockwave, so a Shackwave repaint is EXACTLY what my collection needs!

Has anyone found more pics?

 

I would quite like a more dark blue toned one personally - but grey is still fun.

 

Quakewave is of such quality that it makes me consider buying any and all repaints. I actually remember seeing Astro Magnum in Radio Shack as a kid before ever seeing Shockwave so I may have to get this.

Well, I guess my graduation money needs to go somewhere!

A very logical choice for a repaint.

I still want the potential voyager version more, though.

I've passed on Quakewave to date, but I am interested in a Shackwave redeco very much. Anything Diaclone/pre-Transformers or something along those lines intrigues me so I think I'll pick this one up.

 

Looks cool..! I do want this. I had a Shack Wave when I was kid (knew it was odd that it was dark grey, but never realized that unique back then so I lost it at some point).

What would be nice though is if he gets the hose mod and the alternate solid hands (as well as the clear hands).

A couple of other things I would like to see that I haven't heard mentioned before are:

1. Better battery cut out in the head to fit the alternate battery used for the hand cannon.
2. An alternate hand replacement for cannon as well.

I never had an actual G1 Shockwabe figure growing up but I did have the Radio Shackwave and still do. I may have to get this.
