Okay, so these probably beat the FOC Combaticon repaints... but they don't totally hit it for me. I think it's the lack of traditional big feet and ape-like proportions that turn me off. However, it's clear that this company put a lot of G1 love into this design. Still pretty cool.

I hate to ask this.. But the question in my mind is: are these guys really so essential-- and in that is this more g1-inspired homage also so essential-- that a significant number of people will opt to hold out and pay more for them than just wait until spring to pick up the Hasbro versions..?

With these guys, and Igear's Presser the 3rd parties are killing my interest in Hasbro's Ruination set.

I was going to get Hasbro's Topspin and Twin Twist, but depending on the price these may just be good enough substitutes. Now we just need to hear from iGear about that Impactor :lol

Those look absolutely amazing. I'm trying to remember the other company that has made Transforming toys for years but I keep coming up with a blank. Oh well, doesn't matter.

These are much better than the Hasbro versions. All we need is 3rd party company to make a nice Roadbuster and Whirl.
