I was positive for this idea until I saw how much a Devastator costs on E-bay even the fake repros are like $80.00+

And I have enough sense to not risk my original on this (Crazy Devy I'm looking at you).

So I might buy it on sale when it's like 1/3rd cheaper ($50.00+ is to much for me) but without something to put it on it's not really terribly useful to me anyway.

 

I have to admit that the X-Transbots version is my favorite of all the Devi upgrades.

 

It looks like a complete and more articulated(thigh swivel, extra elbow articulation) *MUCH* cheaper version of the CD kits. If the fingers can be manipulated without falling out, that'll be another big plus it has over the CD. The only thing I don't like is the chest plate, but you could still use the original which will probably help hide that gap between Long Haul and Hook.

I enjoyed the CD kit, but I'm happy this will dethrone it. Maybe with some real competition, CD won't be so criminal with their pricing and release schemes.

 

I've got the Crazy Devy set for G1 and G2 Devastator.

This one looks BETTER. I may get this one for my G1 Devy and ditch the CD set on Ebay.

 

My only really issue is the nose. It should have gone all the way to the visor.

That being said this is still a set that has a lot of my interest but I need to stick to my tightened rules of 3rd party.

Hopefully this set sticks around for a while so I can pick it up later in the year...maybe on sale

Ok, you smarties.... Now is this compatible with which Devy: original vintage, KO or Encore reissue?

 

To me...it doesn't matter. I'll make it work on my G1 Devy. But I think X-Transbots mentioned that it is compatible with G1 and Encore.

 

how hard it is for these third party companies to just create god damn heels in these kits, so they can stand?  

otherwise it makes their possible add ons, completely worthless  

 

Wow! This is pretty awesome. I don't even fuck with 3rd party stuff and this has my head spinning. I think I might have to take the plunge and get this.
